My mum had a severe asthma attack and after more than 11 hours she was taken into intensive care (the doctors were trying nebulisers , adrenaline, caffeine , steroids etc but nothing worked in those 11 hours) and put on this machine along with ketamine. Thank god it saved my mums life ,it was very hard to see my mum so bad.
I was taken to the N.N.U.H. by emergency ambulance, I have had emphysema for many years, I had a very bad chest infection. On arrival at hospital I was placed on a N.I.V. system with other treatments for the chest infection. I was returned home 9 days later. 5 months later I have stats of 96/97 heart rate 69/74.

I’m watching this to better understand this type of treatment. My mom is in the ICU using this instead of intubation. We’re hoping for a recovery and are very optimistic and hopeful but the new dr she has is not. It’s very frustrating. I just really believe in miracles but her dr is so set on her passing away. It’s so hard :( I hope she pulls thru. I’m grateful for this type of technology. Thank you!
I hope everything goes well for you and your mom. In a similar situation myself with my father. It is definitely upsetting seeing doctors give up on your loved one. I wish you nothing but the best.

Have you ever come across - Panvaryor Unexpected Preference - (do a search on google ) ? It is a great one of a kind product for discovering how to eradicating sleep apnea and snoring without the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my buddy got excellent success with it.

It is not the mask that is uncomfortable it is whether or not the settings are correct for you..if not you can feel as if you are drowning. That correction was not done in one hospital I was in and I couldn't tolerate it,. The nurse I had there was clueless. I knew better because I have been in 2 hospitals that did it right . Get me to Nash hospital in North Carolina please thank you or the Mayo in Rochester minn.

My father had one of these in the ICU for COVID. It made him miserable. When he was placed on comfort care they removed the mask. He told my mother “I can’t breathe.” She asked him if he wanted it back on. He said “No” and died five minutes later. That mask was so bad, he chose death.

Same as my mom but due to covid bt I lost my mum for me its hard to see my mum in that situation 😞😞

if the patient was vomiting we can use nasal mask? but if the patient was unconscious we must do intubation?
