Bonus comment guide: Buying corpses is the worst part. Some tips: - You can actually self farm most of your corpses, spec the nodes on the tree and shrines and run as much packsize and you'll get 2/3rds of most crafts in a few hours. - Live search corpses you need to avoid the non responsive spam, just set price min and max to fine tune the pings. - OR scroll past the "discount" corpses, they are sold or non-responding as VERY LARGE amounts of corpses are being bought and sold each minute. Save the headache. - Sell your unneeded corpses to cover crafting costs very easily. - Run 2 or so crafts at once using different corpses (1 weapon 1 armor).
In my experience, the mod tier corpses are rare enough that they're always your bottleneck, so you can kinda go for full graveyard every time just by filling with the other corpses Also, the corpse sequence button helps figure out how to trim down the craft a ton, from what I've calc'd it seems you get the best result per corpse at around 40 corpses for most builds. But since mod tier corpses are the bottleneck full graveyard is the way (granted, I've been mostly looking at maxed out items)
@blackomega34 I'm not talking about actually running the rituals, I'm only talking about the packs that naturally spawn in place of the ritual. You just kill those and move on not actually run the ritual Because the packs ritual spawns in are the same mob types as the map meaning they should all have a chance to be affected also. I know the ones in the actual ritual once activated won't provide corpses
Before trimming down from 88/88, I find the "View sequence" button on craftofexile to be super useful for seeing at which point in the craft the calculator starts stacking less impactful modifiers

Thank you for this video sir, not just to make it accessible to new players or at least those newer to crafting. But also just the general positivity and enjoyment you bring to the community.
This is an awesome video. I dig this because it can totally be done in the background to any mapping strategy. Kill monsters dump corpses into quad tab. Every once in a while check how close you are to your craft. Maybe you need a couple corpses & decide to buy them. It doesnt at all have to be your main goal, it can happen passively for the most part.
“Mayby you need a couple corpses and decide to buy them” This right here is why it sucks even as a passive background thing. I’ve seen some streamers with 2000+ corpses and they still have to spend an hour (or several hours if they’re unlucky) buying corpses so they can finish their craft. Unless you decide to sell all your corpses (and thus not interact with the mechanic at all) you’re going to have to deal with the tedium of buying dozens of individual corpses worth a few chaos each. Necropolis is probably the most powerfull mechanic introduced since Harvest (mayby even stronger than that), yet nobody is using it because its so godsdammed annoying. And that annoyance will be the main thing people remember from this league.
@@circaen No-one is of course an exaggeration. There’s always gonne be people using it (especially when its this powerfull). But compare this to say: the wildwood from last league. Every person selling his corpses is somebody avoiding the mechanic to the best of their ability. Every person buying corpses is somebody slogging through the worst of the trading system. If I can play for 2 hours a day the most efficient way to spend that time is crafting up items with the new mechanic for either profit or power. But thats gonne be 2 hours i’ll be bored out of my mind

Thanks for the info! For anyone reading this - it's true - the 3.24.0b patch WILDLY buffed grave crafts, go check it out if you aren't already. I just crafted a near-perfect ring for my build on the first try (thanks again!) and am excited to gear myself up using this system.
They added graveyard to craftofexile. It's pretty easy with just that. The only difficult part I've found is waiting for caster and gem corpses, but there's also the corpses that increase effect so yea pretty simpin. I'd say Its better to go for exactly what u want. T1 affixes with as close to exactly the amount of corpses. It's gona take awhile to get those corpses, no point in not just putting T1 affixes
GGG need to get bulk selling of necropolis out there on the trade site. It's abnormally rough shopping for necropolis stuff. Especially when you are getting them one at a time and you can need several hundred trades to complete.
dont forget to grab a "Randomizes numeric values of base defences on an armor 6 times, keeping the best outcome" i would also hope there's a similar coffin for weapon base rolls
@@lennyghoul exactly, I've filled a 2/3 of quad tab with corpses from one day of mapping, and there's only one crit and resist corpse, and zero speed and gem corpses LOL coffins take so much space it's painful ngl
Great that content creators can then share the setup along with the build guide :) Is is my way of crafting, the standard is way to complex. You need to know the exact base, farm for trillions of hours to get the currency. My average loot currency are around ~3 div per League. I would love to be able to craft with what you have in your stash. The page reads your stash tabs, you specify what you want and it gives you the best outcome.
The best part is not “Tries”, but percentages. For example at the start where you said it would take 2 tries, it was saying 99.9%. So it was deterministic. And 20 tries is 5%, so actually it is very low. Plus you can see percentages of every desired affix
True the total % is a good figure to look at though you'll have to weigh up that level of confidence vs going for a full grave - and keep in mind I wanted to makea guide that was focused on being as accessible to the average player as possible - and encouraging full graveyard crafts aint the way to go for that goal.
Would you consider sharing explicit recipes for common items? Like for a phys attrack crit sword, you need these to hit ~90% of the time, and for crit ele bow you need these corpses etc? That would be helpful
This!!!! I am searching and searching but nothing of use pops up... I hope someone here can either tell us how they matter or that they simply don't.. prefer the latter to be frank. ^^ Cheers, Exile~ edit: I found it!! There are some corpses with the text "corpses in adjacent graves and this corpse have their crafting outcomes randomised when this corpse is buried" So I'm guessing we can use this to get rid of some mods we otherwise wouldn't use.
It's been a decade and I still haven't learned not to get hype about crafting leagues lol. I am very thankful for the video, I just think it sucks that the main mechanic of this league is us sitting in craft of exile running simulations.
Thanks bro, I'm a little daunted This is my third league. I got 40/40 last league tho. I'm excited to try these crafts. Trying out Subtractem's Frostblink ignite elementalist, fun so far
What we really need is a program and I don't know if craft POE can do this or not. But we need to be able to select the items, select all the things we want on it and then hit generate recipe. And it shows us exactly what we need for the graveyard kind of like a reverse engineering
i've always been on the borderline to dip into crafting, never really got into it. now i was certain that i will be a viable crafter after this league comes to an end, turns out i haven't really done anything with corpse crafting but putting stuff in there somewhat randomly if i have time to play, i wanna play, not spend the little time i have on a crafting system
@ZiggyDGaming one thing im still confused and wondering about is , what do the unique corpses do? ive gotten like 20 of them now and im afraid of using them with no result because i don't know what they do or affect. was hoping to see a small section in the video about them.
You put 4 of those with different names together, hit craft, get a unique. There's one of them, a jewel, that is affected by all the corpses around it, not sure about the other ones. Imo, the uniques are not that great, and it's mostly useful in SSF, in a trade league it's easier to buy them.
Thanks for making this video, and I know GGG is doing the best they can to work with what they have in Poe, but look how much of this video takes place outside of the game on another website. It looks like Poe2 is making design decisions that take away reasons a player would want to open a browser tab, and that's a good thing.
It's not complicated, it's tedious. I have a full morgue and a full quad tab, but still not enough of the correct corpses to craft anything. I loved harvest league, setting up the garden etc, but this takes 100 maps or more to do 1 craft. I know i can trade, but it's been a slow start so i'm a little behind
You definitely can't trade for them lol. Any decent corpses are currently being bought en masse by TFT staff using bots, and then only sold in their Discord.
Even if they were available.. Needing to do THAT many trades to attempt to roll 1 item is crazy. Literally need a spreadsheet for socketing a full graveyard. I enjoy the technicality of poe, but this is too much.
You have the in-map mechanic to enjoy If you don't want to use the graveyard just pick the good corpses and sell for currency Buy your item from the website and Done.
Imagine how much longer it would take to pick one of these up off the floor. Tedious yes, and I feel like they could definitely stream line it a bit better instead f having to walk around and putting everything in the ground manually. I think this is cool for the giga brained people
He says you can work on multiple corpse projects at the same time, does this mean that crafts can be separated in the graveyard? Like finishing a craft only uses directly connected corpses?
Should you wait to do crafting until you beat the main storyline? Im new to poe. I dont reckon crafting a lvl 45 helmet is gonna be a good use of resources at lvl 75, or am i off on that?
One Question, when I go with 900 Tier Rating so only T1 Affixes are possible, what if the item level is not high enough for the T1 Affix or will it get T2 ones instead?
use coffins with + 1 to item level as you scroll back on the diminishing returns for 88 graves. should tell you the item level before you accept the craft. just add as you need to match the highest item level of the attribute you picked. also they're pretty cheap so you could save some currency grabing even ilvl 80 coffins on the more expensive side
I heard someone complaining that this league would suffer because there's no way to craft 'really end game items ' such as with influences, synthesized implicits or Even some uncommon bases, like vermilion ring. (As far as I know, there aren't any special corpses for these?) What if there was a rare drop (probably at least as rare as a divine) 'empty coffin' item. That you can put an item in, then bury it, and that item would be used as the base for the crafting? Like fossils, it would probably ignore meta mods Maybe you could bury multiple items and get some mix of the two, like that one orb I've never seen, but probably incomplete, or prone to alterations due to the possessed mods and all that stuff
Tried making my own recipe and the website wont let me select modifiers because apparently graveyard isn't a viable crafting method, I dont know why it isn't working for me
weird. i can see that there are necropolis corpses for even influence types, so i'd assume the calculator would factor that in, maybe not for double influence (since as far as i know that's an Awakener orb only craft). off the top of my head idk what would brick the graveyard option.
it's a good crafting league, they did it pretty well this time around. harvest league was such a failure, no one wanted to figure out and set up hydroponics for 2 hours and set seeds every map
Almost every corpse sells for about 5c at level 83 and often under. Mod tier rating is always worth it as everyone needs it. Scarcity corpses can be quite valuable as those can be a bit harder to get. Chance to craft extra items are big money too.
Nice video...tried to follow it lol. As a new POE player its frustrating when a game pretty much requires you to use 3rd party sites and resources to be able to play and understand the game. It detours so many people!
I didn't bother looking at any third party website's calculations and was still able to make boots with ALL T1 move speed, life, armor, chaos res and double regen in SSF for my RF Chieftan. I only used half of my graveyard too. If I farmed the reroll values corpse, it would be perfectly divined. Since trade league is obsessed with item value and currency per hour, I can see how the crafting will put people off, but in SSF it's so nice being able to slowly build up a perfect item over time as you progress your atlas, level your character, farm for uniques etc. Since different gear types and especially atlas/influence bases are still hard to get, even if the possibility for a perfect item is there, there's still a ton of time investment to get to perfection. I'm loving this crafting system. Side note for people who enjoy game design that keeps people within the game and not going to third party sites: you can learn mod tags in game by just looking at items you pick up while holding Alt. As long as you aren't obsessing about your speed, a new player can still slowly learn how to make use of this system by just playing.
Really great video, I just dont know if I understand iLvl requirements for crafting. Does it means, I cant craft "+2 socketed bow gems" short bow (for EA, bow is ilvl 50), as Craft of Exile shows ilvl 64 minimum for +2? So I will get always only +1, which is ilvl 9?
Yes, if the final iLvl of the item is below what is required for the mod tier, it just won't roll. Good thing is, there are corpses that increase item level. For example, I use corpses of iLvl 70+ just to make buying easier, and add a few of those item level corpses to make sure that I can hit all those T1 mods, since they often require iLvl 83 or even higher.
Can you select witch buried corspes you use in a craft? For example in the case of randomizing some bad corpses, can you save the buried ones for later?
Usage is based on adjacency. Anything adjacent to the corpse you click Craft on, and anything adjacent to those, etc, is involved in the craft. If you want to leave them for later, just go craft something in a different area of the graveyard without connecting to the stuff you want to save.
GGG: We want to attract new players in Poe meanwhile, new players need a doctor's dissertation to understand the fukin crafting let alone other shit in the game
Appreciate the help but any crafting system that requires a phd and a website to be able to calculate it is not a good crafting system in a video game. A majority of the player base can't access this type of content in a game they want to play to enjoy. Going to a website to plug in modifiers and burying 60 corpses to get a chance at an ok item isn't a good system. This is not appreciating people's time at all.
Did you put just the one corpse in? If so, they INCREMENTALLY add one link, up to a maximum. So you would have needed 4 corpses that add links. Apologies if you already considered/knew that, but that's the only thing off the top of my head that would cause that behaviour.
@@ZiggyDGaming well I was on console and had shortly before recieved the call that my laptop was ready for pickup tomorrow, and I had to get to sleep so I wasn't too concerned with doing it right away. Is there a spot on the site I should use to do it now?
I must admit I'm usually into crafting. I find the amount of corpses and time needed absurdly high. I think poe has always been in between "lucky" shots craft, and precise expensive methodic metacrafting. Here I feel like we have the worst of both worlds. ( Compared to harvest for instance where we had both )

Each craft only uses linked corpses! so you can separate them with a space. Having 2 going on opposite sides is reasonable for most people.
@@ZiggyDGaming thanks gamer
damn it bro I came here to find out which is column and which is row and you did answer lol but then you said column @23:20
Should you wait to do crafting until you beat the main storyline? Im new to poe. I dont reckon crafting a lvl 45 helmet is gonna be a good use of resources at lvl 75, or am i off on that?
Does anyone know which options are available for choosing experimental weapon bases? Oscillating sceptre for example.
One Question, when I go with 900 Tier Rating so only T1 Affixes are possible, what if the item level is not high enough for the T1 Affix or will it get T2 ones instead?
Will be t2
use coffins with + 1 to item level as you scroll back on the diminishing returns for 88 graves. should tell you the item level before you accept the craft. just add as you need to match the highest item level of the attribute you picked. also they're pretty cheap so you could save some currency grabing even ilvl 80 coffins on the more expensive side
I heard someone complaining that this league would suffer because there's no way to craft 'really end game items ' such as with influences, synthesized implicits or Even some uncommon bases, like vermilion ring. (As far as I know, there aren't any special corpses for these?)
What if there was a rare drop (probably at least as rare as a divine) 'empty coffin' item. That you can put an item in, then bury it, and that item would be used as the base for the crafting?
Like fossils, it would probably ignore meta mods
Maybe you could bury multiple items and get some mix of the two, like that one orb I've never seen, but probably incomplete, or prone to alterations due to the possessed mods and all that stuff
Good luck crafting suppression. =)
Does the craft use all corpses in morgue, or only those connected together through adjacency?
Connected
Can I limit the number of corpses used? Would like it to find best way to make item in 10 or 20 corpses
Is it worth saving corpses before you get into maps?
it's a good crafting league, they did it pretty well this time around. harvest league was such a failure, no one wanted to figure out and set up hydroponics for 2 hours and set seeds every map
You want to really help us Ziggy? Tell us what corpses to pickup and sell. At least then we will be able to buy the gear we want.
@@kelpsieExcellent thank you
So how do i craft cuz it says “needs 4 members of same family” like they need to hav the same name or what someone pls explain that part😩
"Actually the EASIEST Gear Crafting in the Game" - proceeds to ramble for 24 minutes.
I think for 6 link you have to use 6 of the "max 6 linked sockets" corpses. Atleast for me it couldn't craft when i had fours and fives together.
now I need to know how to get a lot of corpses to drop
"Crafting is extremely satisfying and very engaging in path of exile"
As a small priv league player - i wish it only took a few hours to make a deterministic craft.
is it possible to craft influenced gear?
What about all the "Haunted by" corpses?
Will you lose all of the crafted Necropolis items when the league ends? (Sorry if the question seems stupid. I'm brand new to PoE)
You need +800 to modifier tier rating to guarantee T1 on tri-elemental for anyone still playing LA.
What is the limit on graveyard? Im following a build that suggest many items with warlord affixes. Can they be added with graveyard?
No influenced mods pretty sure. Can get special atlas bases like iolite rings through a special corpse tho
Spell suppression not having a tag is so sad.
GGG: We want to attract new players in Poe
meanwhile, new players need a doctor's dissertation to understand the fukin crafting let alone other shit in the game
Idk what happened but I made a chest earlier that was supposed to be min 5 links. I got 3 sockets with only a 2-link
Did you put just the one corpse in? If so, they INCREMENTALLY add one link, up to a maximum. So you would have needed 4 corpses that add links.
Apologies if you already considered/knew that, but that's the only thing off the top of my head that would cause that behaviour.
@@nextgen3ric no I had 2 max 4s and 3 max 5s, even the crafting window said minimum 5 links, but only spat out a 3 socket 2 link
/bug report that one!
@@ZiggyDGaming well I was on console and had shortly before recieved the call that my laptop was ready for pickup tomorrow, and I had to get to sleep so I wasn't too concerned with doing it right away. Is there a spot on the site I should use to do it now?
New player here. So when should we swap to DW?
This is still terribly complex to me. I hope in poe2 we get introduced to crafting bit by bit? Hopefully. Cheers!
Can you get elder items from this? If not some builds will essentially not benefit at all
I must admit I'm usually into crafting. I find the amount of corpses and time needed absurdly high. I think poe has always been in between "lucky" shots craft, and precise expensive methodic metacrafting. Here I feel like we have the worst of both worlds. ( Compared to harvest for instance where we had both )
?!? How do you link corpses for a single item?
Original POE music, so cool
what are the haunted corpses
