They should learn to tap their lead foot every now and then to help with checking the leg kicks, as well as shelling up, hopping back and checking leg kicks again once you've cleared some distance. Once they get that teeps will come more naturally from having a lighter front foot and it will help manage distance in general. I can see there is an emphasis on training their boxing.. a better kicker with distance management will be their downfall in the future. Or just do your thing! you guys are amazing!

Headgear doesn’t really protect their brains from damage. What it really does is give people a false sense of safety. This false sense of safety can lead to riskier maneuvers and less defense.

@@AB-ft2lb i know where your coming from, but i think with head gear it makes the head a larger target and most injuries are when you get slightly caught which an head guard opens you upto that think like your head jolting, snapping back lets back thats what usually causes big problems from my understanding. Also wearing might give you a false sense of protection leading you to getting hit harder and more often... thats my thoughts but some will disagree its down to what you believe. 👍 head guards are good in the lead up though to lessen the chance of cuts which is very important for a fighter especially if they pay the bills this way.
