Many fans don't like "No Prayer For The Dying". I personally think that is a great album. It has some heavy tunes such as "Run Silent Run Deep", "No Prayer For The Dying", "Holy Smoke", "Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter", "Tailgunner". Moreover Nicko's drumming is outstanding here. Up the Irons!
Apparently he tripped over Dave's cable (because of what he said in another interview, which happened to be the night after, coincidentally). - Apparently Janick even fell OFF a stage somewhere in the 2000s, which I think broke his leg. Not exactly sure, but he's a little unlucky. But yes, he rocks hard, he's always up to something on stage.
@soeffingwhat i see..yeah,i know they'r doin some small gigs before all the bigger venues and arenas to warm up the new songs and stuff :P but that "room" looks incredibly too small :D
Man that venue seems so small compared to the stuff the usually play and play nowadays - but as we know the smaller venues are so much better wish I️ was there
They had played way bigger BEFORE that point. It's just whatever you get or can book. They didn't feel too good to go smaller and they also COULD do it because they didn't have those massive stage shows anymore. They stripped down to instruments... You probably couldn't hang that lighting rig they had on the World Slavery Tour or get all the backdrops in there. - The only thing that seemed to remain is the drum-riser with the steps for Bruce in front, which probably lasted from 1985 if not earlier, except stripped from any theme-ing.
It was done deliberately No big stage Show stripped back to the basics I saw them in Edinburgh on this tour it was Awesome to see them play without the big theatrics they were probably the best shows I ever saw from Maiden.
@Aarisure - They did this Tour of smaller places in the UK in October 1990 before heading out to Mainland Europe and the larger Arenas in the UK in December that Year. Wolfsbane supported them during these smaller Shows and Anthrax supported them during the Arena Leg.
@@londonmadeeasy Anthrax were supporting them on that leg and on their Album "Attack of the killer Bs" they have 2 songs recorded from each of the 2 nights at the NEC. You might have been present when they played?
@@soeffingwhat that’s right, they recorded it on the night we were there at the Birmingham NEC. I was 13 at the time and I remember it vividly. I bought the attack of the killer B’s record. Where has time gone?!?
@Samí Warrior totally agree with you! Besides it’s hardly Janick’s fault that Adrian decided to leave the band. I love Jan and his guitar ability and dancing skill. As skilled as Davey is there’s no way he could have managed his and Adrian’s guitar work so they needed a new guitarist and I think Janick fits the bill perfectly.
@Celestial Dragoness oh yeah totally. A three guitar attack just works so well. Besides Davey and Ade don’t like being the centre of attention so they can just stand and play while Jan does his funky dancing. I didn’t know that Jan had tried to convince Ade to stay back when he quit. That’s nice of him. It definitely shows that Jan’s such a cutie who deserves to be loved.
Dave doesn't miss a note of his solo when Janick falls. 😂
That was so funny 😂
@@TheFairyWithBootsWhy is it so funny when Dave looks back? 😂
Nicko’s beautiful Horst Link snare drum!

Agreed. I think Run Silent Run Deep is one of their best songs ever
Nicko was talking to the audience;
Nicko: "Did you 2 girls come together"
2 Girls: "Yes"
Nicko: "really?"
2 Girls: "yes"
Nicki: "I wish I saw that".

I like how you just see a guy up on the scaffolding putting the lights up. None of that "health and safety" pish.
Steve Gadd is Nicko's drumtech!!! :D
Janick looks like Robert Plant with his big hair here. Ironic, as he couldn't get into LZ initially cos of Percy's 'girly voice' lol.
UP THE IRONS!!!!! great vid...back when headbangers ball meant something...
Nice fall by Janick at 9:14
Wow this is 1990 ? You would think they would be playing bigger venues at this point in their careers
In 1990 play at Wembley Arena for example.
