Never been a follower of this band but I absolutely love everything about this, the story, the people, the attitude, the commitment. Just brilliant 10/10
I was sort of the same way. But I came to learn two things you can always count on with Iron Maiden: 1) Iron Maiden will never give less than everything they've got. Steve Harris hasn't forgotten all of the work it took to create such a large and dedicated fan base, and he's equally dedicated to it and very protective of it. It translates into every aspect of the band. I didn't get to see them until the 7th Son tour and I went into the show knowing maybe three of their songs because my best friend had a cassette of "Live After Death" that he would play now and again and you know what? It didn't matter one lick because the production was so full-on and precisely executed that your eyes didn't have time to rest or get bored. Aside from Maiden, I know of only one other performer who could pull off that trick at any show, anywhere in the world, and he's gone now; his ashes in an urn at his studio and his world famous "Cloud" guitar on display at the Smithsonian. I like to think that he and Eddie Van Halen ( whose guitar is on display there as well ) like to get together after hours and "cut heads" once in a while. 🤟😊 2) Iron Maiden will never insult your intelligence. Though they used to get the "Spinal Tap" comparison once in a while back when they really started ramping up the live show, the fact of the matter is that Maiden gave Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Harry Shearer the inspiration to pick up their guitars, write the music for the movie, and go for it full-tilt with no apologies. Would you care to guess what the most successful comedic outing of those three guys combined careers just so happens to be? Damn straight. No, Bruce and Steve write good lyrics and are capable of telling a compelling story. UP THE IRONS!!!
Seventh Son… sonically is by far their best album. It’s one of those albums where it just sounds perfect. Like Back in Black. It’s recorded and mixed perfectly. Can tell the guys put a lot of work into crafting those songs! My favorite studio album as a WHOLE.
Somewhere in Time is my Favorite Maiden album... Not the best... but Favorite. I adore the Science Fiction Wall of Guitars and Synths, it's one of a kind in Maiden's Carrer.
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son - Can I Play With Madness. Always loved Iron Maiden but that album was my favorite. Saw them three times in Atlanta and have such good memories. I'm 57 and my son who is now 24 grew up on them and loved Run to the Hills even as a kid. I was and still am a metal chick. Thanks for the great memories. I will hold on to them forever.
Most people would agree that SiT is one of the best, but among the 80s albums, it's probably the 2nd or 3rd most underrated (Other than Killers and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. Btw SSoaSS is my favourite Maiden album and SiT is my 3rd. 2nd is Powerslave in case you're wondering.
Watching this part, especially the second half of it, I feel so sad for Adrian. The poor guy was right about the tempos. I do love Maiden England so much but thanks to the wild tempo, Bruce is almost chocking on some of those songs. Then we get Nicko defensively admitting it with a laugh. A year later Adrian was kinda forced to leave. Also Bruce is still bashing a magnificent album (Somewhere in Time). Maybe because his ideas weren't accepted? This is just so sad IMO.
Guitar synth Maiden is my favorite Maiden. There's something incredible and epic about those sounds and the feeling of isolation in Bruce's vocals. Indescribable.
As far as music goes I believe Iron Maiden is the closest to actually getting to a higher point of existence. Every night, every tour for decades has kept the same amazing feel. Now in 2019 they are better than ever. Truly an amazing inspiring bunch of human beings. All with basically zero promotion. This is what humans can do all by themselves. I was an original fan club member from the eighties and they're still just as exciting to me. They've always been in contact with their fans way way before the internet made that easy. Never sell out. Every other huge band has and you can go see them today and they all can barely play and charge 2 Grand a ticket it's really a shame. Every human should see Iron Maiden at least once it'll change your whole idea of what's possible.
Iron Maiden was/is my favorite band of all time. The only time I saw them love was Monsters of Rock in Schweinfurt Germany in 88. Loved them so much, my army vehicle was named Eddie
Wow. Just watched the first three, coming from a non-metal or rock background Maiden amaze me more and more. My favorite band of all time, can't wait to catch you guys live at least once!
The first time I ever pressed record on a tape deck was "Number of the Beast" off the local rock station. Maiden was something other than a band. It was the Universe at its peak focus spitting its best light out to a generation with the blackest holes for ears. I think every Hard Rock/Metal Guitarist should learn Steve Harris' bass lines & patterns/shapes as well as the guitar parts. Quite the library of what makes Rock/Metal tick!
This is probably the best period in Maidens history. I love Somewhere In Time but Seventh Son.... now theres an album that still gives me goosebumps and I've been listening to it for over 30 years... I know ts a long time coming, but I look forwarrd to part 4 pf this series.
@@patrickthometz6365 I was a bit disappointed with "No Prayer for the Dying" when that came out, but they did redeem themselves IMO with the 2 live albums (which, again IMO, were better than "Live After Death" and should've been sold as a double LP) and "Fear of the Dark". I was 11 years old when "Seventh Son" came out in 1988. It seemed to take forever for the next album. It did give me plenty of time to get their other albums though. "Powerslave" was the 2nd one I got.
I believe it was put together by a different production company than the previous two, which is a shame because both Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son albuns and tour have amazing stories. It´s pretty gruelling to watch due to the poor quality
They did Powerslave. They did Seventh Son. Next tour should be Somewhere In Time! Such a great and underrated album. Fantastic sound and wicked vibe on it, and it's probably the Maiden album I listen to the most 🙏
They stated it was the last time they re do a classic tour. maybe if they do a final tour before retiring they'll play lots of classics, but not exactly the "Somewhere in Time" show again.
I rushed out and bought it on the day of release. I was gutted as to how bad it was. Undeterred, I went to see them Somewhere on Tour. They were rubbish. I still love their first three albums (and the odd song off the following two) but for me, they haven't been any good since. They are technically brilliant live even today (especially with three guitar players) but the songs since Powerslave have been universally terrible or just a rehash of their older ones. When I've caught a live show on TV and watched on out of curiosity, it's like they play Hallowe'd Be Thy Name on a loop. Just my opinion though.
0:00 Introduction 11:11 Somewhere in Time World Tour 19:54 Seventh Son of a Seventh Son 28:56 The 'Monsters of Rock' festival at Castle Donington and 'Maiden England' at NEC Birmingham
I was listening to pop music during the 80s. One day, I watched The Clairvoyant Donington performance on TV, which can be seen at 28:56, and I was simply mesmerized. The next day, I bought the 7th Son album on cassette tape and it changed my life forever. Especially listening to the title track was magical, I never knew complex, epic music like that existed. Afterwards I became a metalhead, but at one point I also got into prog rock bands like Jethro Tull, Genesis, King Crimson etc. And after reading interviews of Steve Harris, I learned that he is a hardcore fan of those prog bands as well. So I think I owe all this amazing musical journey to Maiden, I'm pretty sure 7th Son opened the doors of prog rock/metal for me.
Somehow I think there's a conceptual and spiritual connection between Powerslave, Live After Death and Somewhere In Time. I normally tend to listen to them together
In a hotel on the edge of a cliff...these dudes were multi millionaires before the 90s. Love it too cos they're why I started playing guitar. Dave Murray was my ultimate fave for a long time, he just looked so cool to me. Then I found out that it was Adrian that was playing most of my favorite solo parts, not all, but most.
This was a great tour!!! At MSG ,we saw someone throw an M-80 into the air ,and it bounced off the lighting rigging,The band did not notice -"Rime of the ancient mariner" was the song, and the M-80 droppped,The fuckin garden all screamed at once as it was dropping---and BLOOM!!! it went off right near Bruce`s face and he fuckin reeled sideways grabbing his face.We thought he must be blinded(my friends and I) but he just started walking -pacing back and forth...The band did not miss one fucking note!!!!!!!!! Then Bruce came back to the front of the stage and pointed at the guy ---the crowd had grabbed him and started pounding on him---Bruce told the crowd to bring him onstage so he could---"YOU!! I`LL RIP YOUR FUCKIN HEAD OFF !!!!-Security intervened and Bruce gathered himself, and they finished the whole gig. Amazing memory.
Maidens first 8 albums which also includes LAD is the greatest stretch of music and will never be duplicated. They were on a role and thats why they are my favorite group of all time. Up the Irons \,.,./
I was at Monsters of Rock Donnington 1988 about 20 feet away from the two that died (during Guns & Roses)...changed outdoor concerts for ever. I was also luck enough to see Maiden 3 days earlier at a secret gig billed as Charlotte & The Harlots at the Queen Mary College in London (still have the ticket) it was truly amazing as is Maiden totally unique.
I was at Donnington in 88 and saw them at Wembley arena later in the year. They were both brilliant shows. The stage at Donington was enormous. It was in the Guinness book of records in 89 for being the loudest show ever!
Brought back a lot of memories for me watching this documentary, Donnington was my the first gig I ever attended. I also went to one of the Whitley Bay dates - Both were awesome.
As much as a band like this had a massive responsibility been who they were and producing some of the finest heavy metal of the 80's / 90's and beyond they are a huge part of people's lives too. When I was a young lad I used be woke up here in Limerick Ireland every Sunday morning to my brother's loud stereo in the next room playing iron maidens latest album of the time. (Late 80's) but them days were gold and those memories I cherish. We were lucky to have grown up in such great times!! 💙
No band does it the maiden way, for sure iron maiden is unique, everything they do is top class, the quality of this production is flawless so are the part 1 and 2. Can't wat for the next chapter, I consider the 90's maiden way more interesting than 80's maiden, all they went thru: lineup changes, being relevant even thou the music in that period of time were going thru big changes and metal was down under in people's taste... What I mean is that the 90's got all the ingredients to produce an outstanding film production and probably the best of the series.
Bloody hell, can you imagine what we might have missed out on, had Adrian stopped that tape before Steve heard the intro to (what would become) Wasted Years? I actually still remember the impact it had on me when I first heard it too, whilst gazing in wonder at that album cover. Timeless.
Perhaps the mood of transition is what I loved about Somewhere in Time. Synths were well established by the time of Seventh Son, but they were still a gamble on Somewhere in Time. The sound, the cover and last but not least the fantastic songwriting make it one of the band's two favorite albums. The other is Piece of Mind, which is also totally underrated.
The fact that no good HD recording of the Somewhere in Time exists is a travesty in Heavy Metal. That album is one of the greatest metal albums ever and the management (yes that's you Rod!) never saw the $$$ into filming it?
A awesome band that can sing, play and make brilliant music not like some of the rubbish music some of the artists do now. Iron Maiden are the best heavy metal 🎸 band of all time. 🇬🇧👍🏻
I absolutely love Maiden England, I've been a Maiden fan since 82 when I was 12 years old and am still a fan and have heard every album. Somewhere in time is such a masterful album, every song on there is phenomenal and is so creative and unique, this album brings back so many good memories for me growing up and still listen to it to this day, seventh son is amazing to and I love that album as well, they are masters of their craft undoubtedly and without question. I wanted to see them since I was a kid and finally did several years ago here where I live in Washington at the Tacoma dome on the book of souls world tour, it was a dream come true for me, I remember getting paid, went straight to ticket Master right after work and immediately bought a ticket, I didn't care if I could afford it or not, I knew if I didn't see them soon I'd never get a chance once they stop touring and I'd regret it for the rest of my life.
I wonder if they're reluctant to do any more because they don't want to drag up old memories, this era of Maiden had a classic and moderately stable line-up, going on to explain Adrian's departure, then Bruce's and trying to also get Blaze's take on things may be hard for them. Don't know if Blaze would be up for being interviewed because he's seen as being responsible for a low point in their career as a band even if it's not his fault. I want to see another chapter in this series because it's interesting but also they'd have to put together a tour of that era which would likely be gruelling. I hope they get round to it but I can see some reasons why that may not happen.
This brought back alot of memories! I was a huge fan back then and still have my Maiden ticket halves and a Somewhere In Time flyer that looks brand new, after over 30 years.
Who didn't love Seventh Son? Wow for me that was their peak. I love everything before that album but I noticed on this video they said it wasn't well received. I loved it and all of my friends that listened to metal, did also.
I think it was more because at the time the world was moving away from metal and heavy metal. Bands like Guns n Roses and such were now coming on the scene, and soon after Nirvana and the whole grunge scene. By the 90's metal was in a very dark and lonely place. It was like it got swept under the rug and one day it was practically just gone, like the industry just stabbed metal in the heart and it was cursed. I'm surprised Iron Maiden even hung in there. I bet they got real close to calling it quits. I remember people on the bulletin boards around 2003 talking about the 90's and how incredible it was to see Maiden play in some tiny little venue with only a few hundred people. I think the internet is what really revived metal around 2000. A whole new world could access old incredible albums that had been forgotten. And a whole new generation found this kind of amazing music on Napster. Metal had risen from the dead. And now with youtube and download stores there was no stopping it again.
I've listened to (and seen) IR since the really early years (Killers era and onwards) and you're still relevant & putting out material that'll keep you relevant for years to come.... Not that many bands can actually claim this. Stay happy and healthy, you bunch of lunatics!!! 🤘😜🙏🤘 Edit: Dave's been an serious influence on my guitar playing since the moment 0.0.... thanks Davy!!!!!!!!!!
I love Dickinson, but nothing beats the haunting vocals of Paul back at the beginning, with that punk raw gritty sound. This band has done a brilliant job of creating 3 distinct eras with 3 great singers. Yes, Blaze was a damn good singer as well. LOLOL
Somewhere in Time, for me, is only beaten by Powerslave and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son within their 80’s output. It is an absolutely SUPERB record that really doesn’t get the respect it should - it’s an absolute classic and out of all Maiden’s discography - if I want a quick go to blast of maiden, then invariably I’ll sling Somewhere in time on. Absolute belter of a record.
I loved the Live After Death double album. It changed my young mind. I also love Seventh Son. It’s so difficult to pull off a concept album and they nailed it. It’s so big and serious and silly and wonderful. I love it.
Dave Murray: "I don't know what were we thinking? Hahaha. That was the era, the period where basically... it was big loud costumes... and loud productions... loud band. Everything was really loud about everything. You had to wear sunglasses quite a lot, because it was just sheer volume.... actually it was a lot of volume coming from just the clothing!!" Hahaahaa
At least for me the best era. I grew up with Somewhere in time & Seventh Son at the age of 13. I cannot explain how much I love those two albums. The atmosphere of the songs paved my way of being a melancholic man always in search for the mistery and loneliness in life. Maiden is a very important part of my life, just like my parents or my own children are, like a personal cult or religion. With "The clairvoyant" it contains my personal best metal song of all time.
Seventh son tour was first time I see maiden on live. It was in Finland in icehall. Gig was superd. Stage was soo amzing. Seventh son is my faforite album still. 🤟😊
2) Iron Maiden will never insult your intelligence.
Would you care to guess what the most successful comedic outing of those three guys
combined careers just so happens to be? Damn straight.
No, Bruce and Steve write good lyrics and are capable of telling a compelling story. UP THE IRONS!!!
Hate OZZY’S WIFE For throwing eggs and shutting the power off during their SET!! Unforgivable! NOT COOL 🤘
she is a sad hollow person, her act was no surprise. Iron dealed with enough class about all that non sense.
Seventh Son… sonically is by far their best album. It’s one of those albums where it just sounds perfect. Like Back in Black. It’s recorded and mixed perfectly. Can tell the guys put a lot of work into crafting those songs! My favorite studio album as a WHOLE.
By a mile. Love that record.
Every album in the 80s for them just got better. The next two albums were more of a plateau if anything and went downhill with the two blaze albums.
@@CyberSoldat I didn’t care for much after seventh son… some good songs here n there, but not WHOLE albums. Until recently.
Definetly!! Can I Play With Madness is a fucking hymn!!
Somewhere in Time is my Favorite Maiden album...
Not the best... but Favorite. I adore the Science Fiction Wall of Guitars and Synths, it's one of a kind in Maiden's Carrer.
Somewhere in time great album I think Adrian wrote a lot on that album I've always liked Adrian he is class act
Somewhere in time is very underrated!!
Stranger in a strange land
P.A.Desai yes, but im talkin about the Album.
I still enjoy listening to it from the beginning up to the end without getting bored. 8 songs filled with power and rich textures.
For me is their best album
24:55 I love the fact that he goes back to that moment and didn't forget about it.
Ohhh
That "To be continued" at the end gave me hope.
Because we just went through 3 hours and we've only done the 90s
80s you mean.
Still waiting on part 4...
@@moneenerd Yeah. Real shame they didn't continue.
This band is still my absolute favourite.. My first ever gig was Belfast 1990 as a 12 year old. Every album an era..
Brilliant documentary, I had no idea the band members where so down to earth. Legends.
I love seeing kiss below on the bill.
Kiss got trounced by Maiden that day.
@@grahamtaylor8912 Maiden trumps kiss ANY day
@@AnonYmous-jp8uu Agreed.
7th son is my absolute favorite maiden album....the medieval aspects of it are fantastic...
Sadly next album NPFTD was a poor album. AFOTD was a better album.
That's exactly how I got good on guitar: playing along with "Live after death "
Up the Irons!
saw both SIT and 7th Son tours. Epic shows. just saw them 2x on Legacy tour as well. just as Awesome as back then. Love this band.
This is probably the best period in Maidens history. I love Somewhere In Time but Seventh Son.... now theres an album that still gives me goosebumps and I've been listening to it for over 30 years... I know ts a long time coming, but I look forwarrd to part 4 pf this series.
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is still my favorite Maiden record.
Best metal record ever made. Last album by them I like
Have you ever heard, "Piece of Mind"?
the best, hell yes. Only the good die young....I guess people don't like that song? That song is freaking amazing
@@donaldmurphy3148 Piece of Mind is my second favorite. Top 5 is. "Seventh Son", "Piece of Mind", "Killers", "Powerslave", and "Somewhere in Time".
The Somewhere in Time era art is god tier.
Panda Nuke xddddd
go see a Doctor you fucking odd ball
nvm, forget everything, message changed.
2024 still waiting for part 4 >:( I hate cliff hangers >>>>:(((
Great documentary but why is the production on part 3 so awful? Parts 1 & 2 looked professional, part 3 looks like an ITV documentary from 1998
My same thoughts.
Whoever decided to put the interview footage in a tiny box in a corner is a fucking idiot. Looks absolutely terrible
And the Blaze era still out there :/ the most interesting to see in my opinion
I believe it was put together by a different production company than the previous two, which is a shame because both Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son albuns and tour have amazing stories. It´s pretty gruelling to watch due to the poor quality
agreed!!! horrible edition and layout on part 3!!! a lot of visual noise
They did Powerslave. They did Seventh Son. Next tour should be Somewhere In Time! Such a great and underrated album. Fantastic sound and wicked vibe on it, and it's probably the Maiden album I listen to the most 🙏
Michael Holmgaard I do as well, it has the best Album work as well
They stated it was the last time they re do a classic tour. maybe if they do a final tour before retiring they'll play lots of classics, but not exactly the "Somewhere in Time" show again.
That album was the start of their decline.
toby.... wwwwhaaaat? you're out of your mind
0:00 Introduction
11:11 Somewhere in Time World Tour
19:54 Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
28:56 The 'Monsters of Rock' festival at Castle Donington and 'Maiden England' at NEC Birmingham
My first concert was when i was 9 in 2003 and these guys headlined. Motorhead was there and so was dio. I remember that show so vividly
Bruce, killin' it with a dude on his back. Love it. Love those guys, always have.
Both Murray and Smith are great - Dave's playing is more modal, melodic and legato and Adrian is more bluesy and raw.
Nicko Mcbrain is such a solid drummer and equally solid figure.
Sea of Madness is just a fierce song!
Ha ha yeah
That was funny
Ready for part 4!!
Maiden for life 💜
Wait And See Next Year!. Dave Murray Did Say Something Big Is Going To Happen. #UpTheIrons
Moonchild88 their last album is next year.
Dont have to be there last.
Immortal band. Iron Maiden will never die. Maiden4ever
*their
Maidens first 8 albums which also includes LAD is the greatest stretch of music and will never be duplicated. They were on a role and thats why they are my favorite group of all time. Up the Irons \,.,./
Jason Corlis Maiden Japan was an EP, not an album.
@@leehubbard5580 Never Heard Fear of the Dark, X Factor, BNW or TBOS? There release after the classics many good Albums or songs
I was there with you! Amazing show...Monsters of Rock!!!
Yup it was a big loud day out that day,
As much as a band like this had a massive responsibility been who they were and producing some of the finest heavy metal of the 80's / 90's and beyond they are a huge part of people's lives too. When I was a young lad I used be woke up here in Limerick Ireland every Sunday morning to my brother's loud stereo in the next room playing iron maidens latest album of the time. (Late 80's) but them days were gold and those memories I cherish. We were lucky to have grown up in such great times!! 💙
"we think [seventh son] was a solid album" That album is the greatest masterpiece in the history of metal together with 'Operation: Mindcrime'
I love how Bruce remembered the synthesizer part lmao
No band does it the maiden way, for sure iron maiden is unique, everything they do is top class, the quality of this production is flawless so are the part 1 and 2. Can't wat for the next chapter, I consider the 90's maiden way more interesting than 80's maiden, all they went thru: lineup changes, being relevant even thou the music in that period of time were going thru big changes and metal was down under in people's taste... What I mean is that the 90's got all the ingredients to produce an outstanding film production and probably the best of the series.
I meet Steve Harris many years ago whilst my band were supporting British Lion. Really nice guy
Somewhere in Time is my favorite album. Killers is a close 2nd.
Bloody hell, can you imagine what we might have missed out on, had Adrian stopped that tape before Steve heard the intro to (what would become) Wasted Years? I actually still remember the impact it had on me when I first heard it too, whilst gazing in wonder at that album cover. Timeless.
The History of Maiden series has been fantastic.hoping for part 4 in the near future and hopefully the Donnington show from 93 will be on that set.
cctitansfan *1992
There wasn't a Donington festival in '93. It returned in '94. 😉
Somewhere in time has definitely the best artwork. The cyborg eddie is also the coolest looking eddie.
7th Son is my favorite album. Dont get me wrong I like others for sure just that particular entire album just resonated with me
The fact that no good HD recording of the Somewhere in Time exists is a travesty in Heavy Metal. That album is one of the greatest metal albums ever and the management (yes that's you Rod!) never saw the $$$ into filming it?
agreed, 100%
There has been … somewhere in time on HD ………. For a while I think?!
It's great to see this forgotten gem of an album get the love it deserves on the current tour.
May 30, 1988: Iron Maiden blew my mind in Vancouver, BC.
LIVE AFTER DEATH is the best live album ever by any band in the history🤘🤘🤘
Seventh Son is Maiden's best album. Somewhere in Time is a close second. Up the Irons!!!
Somewhere in time is by far my favorite album
Edit: Dave's been an serious influence on my guitar playing since the moment 0.0.... thanks Davy!!!!!!!!!!
I love Dickinson, but nothing beats the haunting vocals of Paul back at the beginning, with that punk raw gritty sound. This band has done a brilliant job of creating 3 distinct eras with 3 great singers. Yes, Blaze was a damn good singer as well. LOLOL
Blaze might have been a great singer (I do not know), but an appalling choice to replace Bruce.
@@hugolafhugolaf I hear ya, but where were all the other guys willing to step into those shoes?
Yes, they were all scared sh1tless.
@@hugolafhugolaf I don't know anyone who could have replaced Bruce at that point.
Axl Rose 😂? I'm partly serious too as he would have been an awesome singer for the demanding vocal parts.
Somewhere in Time had it all. Awesome songs, amazing guitar tones and an insane album cover full of “Easter eggs” from Maiden’s history.
You'll enjoy the video for the writing on the wall then.
I'm American, I liked Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. I guess I was in the minority though. It was my first exposure to Iron Maiden
I love Seventh Son
I've listened to Maiden since 1983 and Seventh Son is probably my favorite album.
The synth albums are so underrated. My all time favortes.
Those days with Martin Birtch were really special. One fantastic album after the other. Kevin is good too, but he's no Martin.
My first time to hear Adrian's story about Tom Jones. Great story!
His laugh after he's done talking is the best. 😂
Seventh Son is one of their best.
Seventh son tour was first time I see maiden on live. It was in Finland in icehall. Gig was superd. Stage was soo amzing. Seventh son is my faforite album still. Even I have followed maiden since 1982. In 80's Maiden was like no other band they where so good they where best band whole world and still are. UP TO THE IRONS
*Seventh Son one of Maiden's best for sure!*
Seventh son tour was my first ever gig at 13. For a kid It was the most awe inspiring visual and i just stood and staired!!! Immense
Adrian wrote my favorite Maiden songs.
He was Maiden's secret sauce. His blues influence and melodic songwriting skills were sorely missed after he left.
somewhere in time and 7th son are my fave over any. and im a old school headbanger. love ALL maiden. theres just something about those two that are haunting.
UP THE IRONS! \m/
Moonchild is how you open ANY album. You come out swinging and making sure you capture your audience INSTANTLY. As soon as I head that song, I was HOOKED. Has been my favourite album since I first heard it in late '88 and nothing has come close since.!
I love the Seventh son album. Musicianship aside, there is something much more spiritually powerful and mysteriously intriguing about it. Up the irons!
Live after Death no live album/video will ever better it
