I live in Kansas. The Kansas Supreme Court has already ruled abortion is a Constitutional right. There is a referendum to have it overturned later this year. I am scared.

This is the correction. What wasn't working, was for the court to establish a new right, based on no text from the constitution itself. It wasn't working to have one of the most hotly debated issues, be taken away from the public decision making process.

The real question here is whether a fetus can survive outside of the womb at 6,8,12, or even 20 weeks? The answer is "NO"... this is because they aren't capable of development outside of the womb at these stages of pregancy. Even babies born at 25 weeks have a very slim chance of survival because their organs are still underdeveloped. So this poses the question that if their internal organs aren't deveopled enough to sustain life then what makes them beleive the brain has developed far enough to contitute a concisouness. Ironically these are the same people that preached for centuries that Animals had no souls, and because they beleived that animals had no souls they could kill them guilt free because the animal was unaware of itself and therefore didn't really count as a life. I'm no law expert, but why not have on the ballot during the next election a box that supports the continuation of abortion rights and a box that denies abortion rights? Just my opinion, abortion should be illegal either during brain development or after the brain is fully developed. It is a proven fact that infants develop an emotional connection with they’re parents and especially their mother from within the womb before they are born and the brain is fully developed well before they’re born and this actually complies with Roe v Wade.

In addition to cases of rape and incest, abortions should be legal in cases of severely debilitating physical and/or mental issues. As an example, states that are enacting total abortion bans would force a woman to carry a fetus to term, even if it would be born with anencephaly. That baby isn't going to survive, but under these laws the woman is going to have to carry it and birth it anyway. Anencephaly is just one example. There are others.
I had to have three abortions, the first at 13 because I was trafficked from age 2 into my 20's by my adoptive family who ran a child porn/trafficking ring. The Establishment Clause prohibits the government from inhibiting or promoting any religion. It does not prohibit religion from politics.

This is the correction. What wasn't working, was for the court to establish a new right, based on no text from the constitution itself. It wasn't working to have one of the most hotly debated issues, be taken away from the public decision making process.

The real question here is whether a fetus can survive outside of the womb at 6,8,12, or even 20 weeks? The answer is "NO"... this is because they aren't capable of development outside of the womb at these stages of pregancy. Even babies born at 25 weeks have a very slim chance of survival because their organs are still underdeveloped. So this poses the question that if their internal organs aren't deveopled enough to sustain life then what makes them beleive the brain has developed far enough to contitute a concisouness. Ironically these are the same people that preached for centuries that Animals had no souls, and because they beleived that animals had no souls they could kill them guilt free because the animal was unaware of itself and therefore didn't really count as a life. In addition to cases of rape and incest, abortions should be legal in cases of severely debilitating physical and/or mental issues.
As an example, states that are enacting total abortion bans would force a woman to carry a fetus to term, even if it would be born with anencephaly. That baby isn't going to survive, but under these laws the woman is going to have to carry it and birth it anyway.

@@AdamBladeTaylor I agree Adam, it should be the parents choice what their children learn, im not a church goer, or into religion;igion in any way, but if my child wanted to live by the bible id allow it, only so long as lived by Jesus rules and helped others for the betterment of all society, the politicians have taken a step to far, as most have no real policies for the people they serve

@@paulgreen758 I have plenty of religious friends. And they are disgusted by the people who call themselves "Christian" in America. People who actively spit on everything Christianity preaches.
These same people complain about how other religions are bad, and shouldn't be "forced" on kids (even though they're not). But they DO want Christianity to be forced on everyone, at least their bastardized version of it.
If it's a human American citizen at time of conception they get a full tax break and should not be imprisoned in a woman's body.

America needs to adopt term-limits for the SCOTUS to 4 4-yr. terms.
Even that long is way too long for a corrupt justice.
There has to be a long term or they will be as political as Congress. However, this lifetime shit, is ridiculous when people are living frequently until their late 80's and early 90's. So maybe one 18 year term or something. No reappointment. One term then done.
