I was there. This was before London Calling came out, at least in the US, so Jimmy Jazz was kind of confusing. Then, when they kicked into Bored with the USA, the energy level really went up in the place. Undertones and Bo Diddley opened. Fun times.
This was the VERY FIRST TIME The Clash played in Chicago. Sadly, I didn't see the concert, but they did broadcast it on WXRT, so I got to hear it. Thanks for posting, and sharing.
WXRT`played this a lot over the years but the sound sucked which is unusual because all thier live were great check out Te Jam and the Talking Heads at the Park West Chicago This new new mix is great Thanks 4 putting it up seen a lot of shows at the scarereagon bralllroom qnd the sound always suckes
@@jarrilsusio there was a period of time when the band played that track more in it original reggae version which is major mode so your hears works well mate
