This show was so great. It was only held back by how frequently douchey his guests were. This group is Kardashian-level.
They are Mario's friends and famous fans. Mario is douchey, borderline dirtbag despite his intelligence and skill.

This guy is an amazing artist who spent years learning his craft to prepare exquisite and rare delicacies from unheard of regions of Italy for a fucking peanut in a weird hat who probably lives on Mcdonalds and Coke.

Mario is brilliant.One example is his inability to "dumb down" to relate to his guests.He retains his expertise and wit.
It's funny when people with no friends get angry at people who have friends. All of that banter was nothing more than buddies ragging on each other.
