Great point! Considering all of the other unusual things they eat, snake shouldn't be such a shock.

There was a McDonalds (24hr!) across the street from my hotel in China, but didn't have a chance to try it while I was there last week...

Maybe it was just the topic... Anyway, I'll try to keep posting.

You've got a pretty good talent for storytelling. Or maybe it's just the topic you chose?
If I go to Taiwan I really want to try the deep-fried scorpion. I'm sure it's like eating crunchy-anything. I'll be sure to add snake on my list.
    [Dude I'm eatin' snake!]
    That's awesome.

lol. Hmmm, If I ever went to China or Japan...lol. I would either go hungry or look for a mc donalds...lol. Trying new stuff isnt that bad, but snake and alligator? lol. I want a MEGA MACメガマック from a McDonalds in Japan!!! it looks good in the pics but I saw a pic of one my friend bought and it looks nasty. lol. They have like all my favorite candy in ANY flavour..and I mean ANY.

I know some restaurants in US also serve snakes and alligators. Why you tell this story as if we eat these animals a lot? I bet 95% of Chinese have never eaten snakes, and maybe 99.99% have never eaten alligators. Dogs? Korean eat much more dogs than Chinese do.
