What exactly was D. Linden doing--anyone know? Why would someone of her season and experience take the lead so many times, only to fall back that far (7th)? I'm all ears...
You're awfully critical of someone who has so much marathon experience and actually made it to the Olympics twice in her career, and finish in the top 10 in this one with a field of very experienced runners who can all outrun everyone watching them on RUclips by hours. Des Linden had a gameplan, and she tried to execute it. It worked out well because she finished 7th out of over 150 runners. If you think you can do better, you get up and do it.
