The real reason iskall is taking a break from hermitcraft is because bdubs' gigantic diorite base gives him psychic damage every time he hovers the mouse over the hermitcraft server
@@haimlalisho9726 I know right! Between TCG, decked out 2, and the ice boat race Etho and Ren are building, there is gonna be nooo progress in anyone's videos 😂😂
This is art, holy crap! You're compressing illustration, painting, storytelling, and worldbuilding into a sculpture/architecture that also takes into account & replicates the effects of time. And then you present the whole thing in edited video on top of all that.. it's one of the conceptually densest art forms I've seen, and I hope you're as proud of it as you play on TV 😄
His build style is something I always admired the block gradient thing he does is insane detailing in Minecraft is my weakness and this dude just takes it to next level
I remember watching you over 10 years ago on the survival of the fittest series. Now you pop back up in my recommended, it's crazy to see how insane your builds have gotten.
I appreciate you to death Bdubs! Man... I know the amount of work this takes is lost on us the audience to an extent. But I assume due to your integrity and dedication to your craft, that's not what you care to focus on -- trying to get us to understand how many hours on the dot this or that took. Rather, you always are focusing on the final product. And that's why it comes out so incredible, and increasingly so every time. I just wanted you to know how appreciated you are and that it brightens my day every time I have a new episode of yours to watch!
Insane. The way you approach buildings how an artist would, with all that shading making it look.. _real._ And I can’t get over the way you do interiors too, it’s all so insanely detailed and busy to make it look, again, almost real. Completely breathtaking.
the hologram nearly had me in tears- you’re such an amazing builder bdubs. the atmosphere and story you create in your builds brings so much richness and curiosity to the servers you play on. i’m constantly shocked and amazed. thank you so much for creating content, being yourself, and sharing your art.
This is crazy good. The texturing process you created was already impressive. But the way you combine like ancient or medieval architecture with futuristic cyberpunk themes is even more so. I would have never thought of that hologram.
every time i watch your videos i feel like im learning something new in regards to building-- stuff i knew id questioned in the back of my head, then watching how you deal with your build makes me think 'oh, that makes sense, i never thought of it that way'. like a click of realization, and i get excited to try building in game myself. ive been eager to keep seeing how this build would progress in general- blocks and themes id never know what to do with and its incredible. watching for years and theres always something new to love about the way to go about your process. seeing the things you learn and pass on in your videos is something i greatly appreciate when i watch.
Nice hologram effect! Paintings as billboard posters is new to me….I like it. They’d make excellent movie posters at a theatre build, as well. Don’t knock the shading you’ve already done. The build is supposed to be ancient, potentially abandoned for a time, before being repurposed without necessarily being cleaned. Cleaning a building that large would be a daunting prospect.
For the paintings. I have seen the 128 pixel versions of them and they look great. You don't know what some are till you actually see them in a better pixelated form. Great build Bdubs.
this base is so sick , so unique, so creative! like the branding? the graffiti ?? THE HEAD HOLOGRAM?? just sitting here staring at my screen looking at all the details
Oh my god Bdubs, you blew my freaking mind with that hologram and the lighting trick with the tinted windows. That is one of the most ingenious things I have ever come across and I will be unashamedly stealing both of those techniques in my builds.
The level of detail on this building is nothing short of spectacular. It's detailed to the point that it feels overstuffed at some areas, but the relatively calm areas are able to break it up just enough, and when you focus down on the base, *every single tiny nuck and cranny has something of visual fidelity to offer, it's insane!*
You know what would be fun in the radio tower if you can manage the prettystone? Setup one or two of those Redstone torches to flicker and burn out, then when the burnout ends they'll flicker again and burn out again.
I stopped watching Minecraft RUclips after i stopped playing Minecraft myself But you Bdubs is one of the creators i cannot bring myself to unsubscribe to You're a great entertainer
i have been insanely excited about this base since you first announced the concept, but seeing the exterior all come together like this is SO GOOD. the hologram turned out frickin' amazing. i can't wait to see how you do the interiors!!!
Just... dude. Thank you for taking your time to take us on a building adventure and get us away from the harsh realities. You're a good man and you're so appreciated.
A little trick to solve the paintings not rendering in that I learned from a Mogswamp vid: put some blocks in the color of the painting behind it so when it’s not rendering you can still see the general colors. Great build as usual!
Man this building is one of your best, the design, block palette, lore - everything is on another level, love it so much, hope you'll show it often in the episodes lol Dude this glass moon is so beautiful, just can't stand
After playing a nomadic style game for years, I've just started building! It really is rewarding and adds a lot to the game! Thanks for all the inspo!!
I love the little art promotion you did there bdubs, shows the people how humble and kind you are. Real role model for the Minecraft community on how you should use the platform to promote good. Take care.
Honestly, I feel like Bdubs has achieved the best possible building style in minecraft. The mixture of shape, texture, shading and detail is just perfect in this game. Not too mention castle building, and steampunk/Redstone building already works really well in minercaft.
I love the water feature thing out the side of your base, great to see it again. The rest of the build looks fantastic too, nice to see it in all its glory!
It’s absolutely freaking incredible what you do. Everybody in the comments says this, but your builds are genuinely one of a kind. The amount of polish and charm that is in these builds is so inspiring and you still put so much effort into the commentary and videos themselves. You inspire me to see Minecraft in a whole new way. Sincerely thank you.
I don't even care about minecraft anymore but I always try to keep up with what Bdubs is doing because he is special. He builds because he loves to and enjoys pushing his game to new levels. It's kinda like watching Bob Ross paint, there is a special kind of love for building that gets transferred to you from inside the screen. Awesome stuff man
Always excited to see you post - your channel is easily one of my go-to comfort channels. I just picked up some Raycons for my little brother's birthday. Thank you and your family for all the time, energy, and compromises you make to produce exquisite content for us!
I hate and love this build at the same time, a part of me wanted for Bdubs to stick with the ancient ruin type and having it ruined by the cyberpunky tech stuff makes me sad but it is so incredibly well executed that I do really love the base and OMG the hologram face is amazing. Fantastic work :)
Your base is beautiful! I love the hologram effect so much, and all the cool little details you put in, you're so creative!!! I'm excited for the horse race with Etho!
10:37 Wow, I was definitely hit with an amazing feeling in that time lapse. Literally started saying "whoa whoa whoa" That's a lot of work, Impressive, Bdubs!
Maybe for the neon signs with the paintings, use magma blocks as a light source instead of sea lanterns, so the signs still light up and the background doesn't as much. In that way you can create a better contrast between the wall and the sign and the sign pops out even more.
Bdubs you have do such a good job of integrating new building techniques and highlighting other hermits buildings to encourage a growth of interconnected viewership. I've been very tempted to make Minecraft video's for a while any you give me so much inspiration! Just wanted to say as a long term viewer your architectural education is inspirational.
It took until the last shot at around 18 minutes in for me to understand how dope the paintings really do look, and i think you could go one step further with the cyberpunk - aspect to them by putting some kind of light behind them to make them glow - maybe like blue froglights & sea lanterns?
I loved the moss shop build, but I questioned the product lol. I'm impressed with how many diamonds you make there! The base is so cool btw. Absolutely love this building style! You're definitely one of the best builders out of any MC content creator with all the attention to small details.
I do have to say that base looks awesome and I really have to believe Scar when he says “trust in the process”. Also, as usual, you have the best outro music.
BDubs this interior is absolutely breathtaking. It blows my mind how you make all these vanilla blocks look like a modded cyberpunk texture pack. Absolutely incredible.

Lmao, real
When you think Bdubs has mastered building he steps up the game again. Always inspiring. Always entertaining.
It's crazy... At one points he really gotta stop doing that or he will explode
It's hilarious how Beef has brought the entire server, sans Tango, to a screeching halt with TCG.
Wwll tcg is epic. Watching his progress making the cards was so awesome. But i cant wait to see what decked out 2 will do to the server

I find it more annoying because I have no desire to even figure out how the TCG works tbh.
