I checked my new update of PBI Desktop and the Copilot feature was already on as well. I don't recall ever having a preview feature automatically turned on before.
When I received the April 2024 update, Copilot for PBI Desktop was automatically enabled for me. However, I'm also an enthusiast who enjoys experimenting with all available preview features. 😄
Thanks. I had to update my Power BI Desktop from the Microsoft Store to get the option for the Copilot pane.

I've an idea... what if Power BI created an explicit measure instead of an implicit measure automatically. Wouldn't be that hard?

I use it at least 4reports now but it’s not quite rightly changed at most of the time but I use it as a start that’s all
