I walked out just in time to see it flare and then race off, my wife had been watching it and we both knew it had to be a transorbital event but couldn't figure out why we would see it so far from any launch facility. Thank you for explaining!

If it was spaceX why haven't they came forward and said it was them. The same light and smoke have been spotted all over the country for the past year+. The fact that there is no explanation just speculations tells me something is being hidden about it
