We’re always looking for new ways to help Christians meet and date....cue our christian dating show with a twist! It’s not exactly Love Island, but we’ve got something even better for single Christians…and this one was at Big Church Festival 2024
Watch as our host, Lauren, joins two single Christians on a blind date. Will the pair choose ‘IRL’ and decide to meet up again? Or will they choose ‘URL’ and give you, the viewer, the chance to go on a date with them instead?
Each episode you’ll see two more SALT singles. If they decide not to match, that’s your cue to get in touch.

That's what I thought too!! It's great to be passionate about your faith but you don't wanna overdo it on the first date

“With the Jesus stuff”, lol. That’s the state of Christianity today. You’re saying professing Christians being scared off by Jesus? We are supposed to be “Christian dating”, and people are scared off by “Jesus stuff”, our Lord and Saviour who died on the cross and rose on the 3rd so we can spend eternity in Heaven….
Philippians 1:21 “ For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” Clearly, that’s not the case for many if there’s a thing called “the Jesus stuff”.
This is why marriages fail today… Not being built on the rock.
““Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.”
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭
He who has ears to hear let them hear, built your relationship on self and it will fail, build it on Jesus and it will prevail
The proof will be in the pudding, just wait and see ✌🏾🙌🏾

I'm assuming you're not a Christian because only a non believer would make such a comment like this.. Very sad

@@nathanthediscipleExactly, glad I'm not the only one shocked by the first two comments. And then for the SALT team to have liked those comments too... You're on a Christian dating site and you're complaining that someone is too Christian? LOL. If we are truly following Christ and are serious about finding a Christian partner, then surely their devotion and passion for Jesus and sharing the gospel should be the most attractive quality.

@@Mike.Cebert perhaps I should explain! As I said, there's nothing wrong with being committed to your faith. As a single guy myself I don't want to date anyone who doesn't share my faith, or who can't at least be supportive of it if she doesn't share it herself.
The issue for me is that this guy seemed to keep mentioning his faith throughout the episode (particularly the intro, which is when you're meant to give a first impression of what you're like) and it just gives the sense that there's not much else going on in his life. "Loves the Lord" and "is saved" are not the only things you should be looking for in a partner, but they're the only things he seemed to think were worth mentioning - and then there's the bit about his dream date being a Christian conference followed by street evangelism... I've watched quite a few episodes of Third Wheel Dates and while the candidates in them are all serious about their faith, they also make sure to put the other sides of themselves on display too.
Sorry if I've been a bit harsh on Simeon here, he seems like a genuinely lovely guy and I'm sure there's someone out there for him. I just think he might have to be a bit more gradual with the faith stuff rather than piling it all on at once, if that makes sense!
