  • Hey hey Ladies in Gentlemen once again it’s LadyPantha here along with SHADOW and we are on another adventure to replace the radiator fan and blower motor assembly. Have you ever had any issues with your car running hot and your AC blowing hot air at the same time. Well this might be your issue the radiator fan and blower motor assembly is what cools your radiator and the liquid Inside while your engine is cycling over. If it does not work your car will run hot and you will note immediate heat coming from your dash if the unit is set to AC. Normally this also comes with the absence of the push and strong hiss you hear from the fan when the ac is on. Remember to preform this job when the engine is cool and the liquids have settled. Remove the three to four bolts in the top of the assemble and you will find that this is a slide in and ride out situation. Thank you guys so much for tuning in here in Vic City......Like, Click, Subscribe, Share and and as always RIDE HIGH....LadyPantha🖤🐆👑.......out

    Miss Pantha! This sounds like my exact problem! I just have one question, would smoke coming through the air vents in the vehicle also be a sign of this problem?

    • @ladypantha583
      @ladypantha583  Год назад

      The smoke may be from a seal somewhere that is pushing out fluid and creating steam that is subsequently flowing into your vents and appears “smoke like”. I suggest that if you fix the fan that you check around all the components where your radiator thermostat and the coolant tank are connected to ensure that is not what is happening. You may just have a light coolant leak and last but not least check your Ac heater core. They have a tendency to go kerplunk around the same time as fans do. I hope that this answer works out for you if there are any more concerns, feel free to shout.

      The radiator blower motor fan is normally out when this is happening especially if you know that the compressor and ac lines are full. There is also a cheap way to emergency fix your fan you can find the positive and negative wire of the fan and run it with attachments to your battery to make it directly run with current on it’s on I would not recommend this long term only until you can fix the issue. This will give you time and potentially keep the care from overheating while you try to use your AC.

    2005 police crown vic ---- BRO I NEED HELP! been having overheating issues & replaced everything in the system. NOT overheating anymore but the radiator fan goes to high after only 5 mins of running. stays on high fan until shut off. replaced the radiator, water pump, CT sensor, HT sensor, thermostat (160), fresh coolant after 3 flushes. used a laser temp tool & highest reading on cyl or anywhere, is only 160 degrees. fan will be on HIGH with that LOW temp. CANT FIGURE IT OUT & NEED TO SELL!.

    • @ladypantha583
      @ladypantha583  Год назад

      Now before I give my answer let me make sure I understand. The car itself is still overheating or is it just blowing hot air. If it’s still over heating there is a sensor near the manifold that informs the “brain” of the car how hot it truly is in the engine. I’ve had a heart attack before helping a friend replace all these things and that’s all it was! I see you did the CT & HT check this : the whole piece(Facet coolant temp sensor) I believe you are getting a false read some where. And make sure when you install any new sensor on the Vic and marauders that the battery is disconnected so that the brain resets and the engine registers the metrics.
      Now if it’s blowing hot air ONLY under the day there is an actuator that controls the doors that open and close to allow engine air inside the cab now if she is jammed this can also cause your car to feel/run/hot. ?
      Let me know so we can work that out!!!!

    Fun fact even on the owners manual says you can keave the ac on but on vent when the engine is off, so the cabin can "breath". Dont believe go look. I had 3 panther bodies already.

    • @ladypantha583
      @ladypantha583  3 года назад +1

      I believe it. I’ve seen on several forums where this is to be the best way to stop a “jam” from happening. I can see why. These things were developed with a much larger cooling system for longevity and this thing is the night rider of cars lol

      Some don’t know but as a last ditch resort if you can get a new fan and solenoid you can just run the power and neutral lines to a power source as an emergency until you get a replacement.
