🤔Interesting that the Asian tribe did not feature anyone from India or the Middle East. Which tribe would feature someone with Pacific Islander/Oceania roots? I’ve also always wondered which tribe a Native American contestant would be placed on?
I love Koh Lanta (the French version of Survivor) so I thought "hey why not watch the American version?" Honestly, I prefer the French version and it would be nice if non-francophones could find seasons koh lanta subtitled in English. But I love the American version !!! And I'm sure the Americans, if they were watching the French version will like it too, but prefer their own. If anyone is interested I want to try to subtitled a season in the French version, in English :) ------- What about this season 13? At first when I saw that the teams were formed by ethnicity I was shocked! I thought "this is a joke?" In France it would never happen! At first I was for any of the tribes. When teams were mixed, I was for RARO until the mutiny. After the mutiny I was for AITU! After the reunification I was Ozzy! This guy is amazing, he reminds me Grégoire of the french version. In summary the season: The weirdest guy: Cao Boi The handsomes guys : Brad and Adam. Pretty girls: Parvati and Candice. The human pawn : Jonathan. Strategists: Becky and Yul. The adventurer number 1: O.Z.Z.Y! He really should have won!
I agree, it's usually my 3rd or 4th favourite!!! Maybe it's the racial difference, or the total annihilation of the white tribe throughout the season. No matter why, this season produced so many iconic players (Parvati, Penner, Ozzy, Yul, Becky), and the twist of the racial difference really showed how different ethnicities work. 100 times better than Fiji!
@TotalDramaIslandKid I think all the hate comes from the whole "race" thing the show did, which in truth didn't last that long anyway. I agree, one of the best seasons, and this was honestly the best cast outside of the all-star seasons (AS, FvF, HvV). I didn't like all of them, but Ozzy, Yul, Parvati, Candice, and Penner. I wish Penner would come back, I thought the guy was gold, and Yul must turn them down when asked, because he was a great player.
