While I am not as skilled as this person, I find that for as much as I learned, you can really only learn fundamentals not unique to any particular style or medium, and the rest is learning through performance. There is no magic get good at art tutorial.

Like, you should get a canvas, some acrylic paint, and a paint knife. Then just get started
