  • My son and I take the Quads out for a late spring afternoon of flooded trails, mud, and hard packed gravel roads. My Sportsman 500 has the 26" Traxion Nitro Tires and My son's DS250 has 22" Mud Lites on the rear. The DS250 has a -1 drive sprocket upgrade (see other video)

Truly enjoyed the video, thanks for posting! Just picked up Sportsman Touring myself today and hope to teach my 11 year old son to drive. It's very likely I'll be picking up a bike for him in a couple of years...the DS seems like a good match? Hope to create some good memories just like this one!

The ds250 is a great quad. There isn't much bad I can say about it other than it doesn't have a great amount of torque, good for a beginner. Changing the counter-sprocket helped a bit with that. Glad you enjoyed the video and enjoy making the memories, Ride Safe!!

I have a 2009 can am ds 250 love it never lets me down I’ve found that taking the spark arrester out helps with power and if you ever hear a wired ticking sound from what’s sound like the belt housing try cleaning and oiling the Chain. That’s the only problem I’ve seen from mine it freaked me out and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong
