I've just bought one for my 2018 Jaguar XE. It looks like a quality replacement and it took me less than five minutes to remove the old one and fit the new. The part was despatched and delivered in two days. Oh, and the video is very helpful too. Thank you.

Used one of my trim-pulling tools to separate the filler cap & body - didn't leave a mark.
Yes crazy land rover dont sell this part.

Thank you, fitted on my Jaguar XF. The extra hole on my existing anchor had a plastic “pin” in it to a 2nd hole.

Thsnks - a great product - I have just bought one as the one on my 'new' 66 reg D4 hsd virtually perished through.
BUT - interesting point - it is a bit short for the Euro6 D4 as the diesel filler has been moved slightly further away to allow for the AdBlue filler. But Land Rover still fitted the short tether as standard so it's a bit too short to put the fuel cap on the hook and you have to leave it dangling.
So - one with a slightly longer tether would be great for the LR Euro6 vehicles (happy to drive over to you to show you if you like).
I remember my first Disco 1 - no tether - left it at the pump in the first month - dealer gave away a free replacement to millions of us that forgot them - after the first one you were on your own for $30+ if I recall - I havent forgotten mine yet on my current Disco 1
Bought one from the far east. Literally fitted it 20 mins ago but wasn’t happy with the fit (ring was larger and the Christmas tree bit doesn’t sit right). So just ordered one from yourselves. Yours does seem a better fit from the video. PS the extra hole does have a plastic push-pin rivet to further secure and possibly stop it from turning round)

Just bought this works quite well. The old plastic circular part was alot tougher rather than soft like this one. I spose the harder the circular plastic was to allow the filler cap to twist freely. With this soft rubber all of it twists together. Nonetheless does the job!

Had mine a while and just gotten around to fitting it. Even easier than the video and my 2011 XF did have a little plastic centre pin rivet in the "Mysterious" hole. Great Price and next day Delivery Thanks.

Brilliant idea-I had a diesel merc and strap perished in a year and snapped.Had to buy a new fuel cap-Pity manufacturers themselves don't do what you've done .

Hi Will we started with a focus on accessories and some of them were not the best designs etc... we are now coming out with some new products that are our own design and hopefully you see more cool stuff. We have invested in 3D printing / 3D CAD Design / 3D scanning and this has helped us create some new parts. I am more excited about the products and the business now than ever before.....

Thanks - we had a couple of people say they do not fit but we have sold 100's and i think the people that say they did not fit did not watch the video so did not split the cap !
@@L663 well it's straightforward and easy to follow, getting the lanyard reattached to the vehicle is hard but with persevering and manipulation it went in, needs to be somewhat tight though. Overall great product, price and video. Thanks.

Interesting - we tried on our FL2 and the barbed bit at the end of the rubber lead seems too small for the hole in the FL2 ? we are thinking of 3D printing an adaptor... let us know how you did it ?
@@L663 the barb is to small, i cheated by putting a blob of glue onto the side of the barb and stuck it!
works well for me, only used the smallest amount of glue, easily remove it if i want

@@leesmith3138 We try and get stuff out quickly once its paid for...when having discussions with couriers and Royal Mail i often say to them that i think 1st class next day services should be cheaper than slower ones..... why ? they ask... and i go on to explain that the slower items have been clogging up their warehouses which cost money to run / rent / heat etc.. makes them think !

Looks to be the identical setup and strap as on my 2012 BMW 750i (assuming the cap diameter is the same) therefore it should fit the F01/F02 series cars as well.

Bought a replacement from your eBay store and it sadly only lasted 3 months (5 fuel fills). Allot less than the original which was poor. The strap split completely in 2 and I always put the cap on the holder inside the fuel flap. Any idea why it failed so soon? Many thanks

Is it injection molded? Must have been pretty pricey to get the tooling made.
Yes its injection moulded and its a highbrid of rubber and plastic.. but the tooling was actually quite cheap.

Hi, will the Evoque one fit the Freelander 2?
Hi - we tried this - the cap is the same and the round hoop is the same but the tether is a little longer on the Freelander 2 and the hole is also too big in the freelander 2 body so it does not retain the tether securely... we are looking at that.
