Thank for the virtual tour. I wish they had signs stating who the people were as some i had no idea. Freddy Mercury had a great likeness. The wax of Princess Diana wasn't good at all. I went to one of madamme tussauds museums in montreal and it was great especially the chamber of horrors

Well out of all the "exhibits" I recognised about 10. Mainly because of the setting or the clothes. I'm so glad I saw this video. Because believe me. I wouldn't pay 50p to go.

It's interesting as there are no name indicators. Some are obvious, but some are unrecognisable. I'm pretty old now and can remember visiting Tussauds with my grandparents. I might be biased, but they were better likenesses then. I agree, Princess Diana is terrible! The Princess of Wales is not good at all, and they haven't captured our late Queen or Prince Philip at all. Although they have captured the Markle smirk quite well.

Recently went to Taussauds London and it isn't a patch on what it used to be.
It's all about sensational noisy announcements, when before ur was about seeing the actual famous faces.
Not many historical people there now sadly.

Have visited Madame Ts many times over the years and watched it become an over priced shadow of what was once a great tourist attraction. Too noisy, sloppy presentation, gimmicky, expensive, far fewer ‘exhibits’ most of which you wouldn’t recognize unless you read the labels (ie most of the Royal Family). There was a time when you really had to look to make sure it was a wax dummy, ie the cop or the tour guide they had outside the elevator who many people would ask them questions or the woman passed out on a bench. These days, the majority of exhibits look like wax mannequins dressed up. I don’t understand how, say a family of 2 adults and three kids can afford to go there. Compared to what I first saw back in 1978 to what’s there today, it’s sad to see and I won’t bother going again.

Thank you for this upload. As yourself I remember the original MT, which would give gasps, and whooping, and awe. Visitors would be able to take own photographs. I see now a visitor has to pay to stand next to the Waxwork ? Is this correct? Thank you.

I’ll always prefer the 40’s horror films depicting wax depictions of historical personages. There are billions of photos and films if you care of these people. Enough said.

Madam tussaud is amazing. I wish it wouldn't be so expensive. When I came to London in 1988 as a tourist I visited madam tussaud and I remember there was a policeman standing at the entrance inside. He really looked like just a real policeman but made from wax! All of a sudden he was moving and boy that shocked me! I wasn't scared, just shocked and surprised! But after madam tussaud I went to the chamber of horrors and that was something I really enjoyed and liked very much because it was scary,especially to watch an execution on the electric chair! That was in 1988. I would like to know if the chamber of horrors is still there!

It's always got massive Queues.out side when I went . The chambers of Horrors has changed? And they don't have wear the heart beats as you go down the stairs .My sister went through the doors to a prison. Where they jump out on you. 😆

mais quel fouillis, on ne reconnait plus rien, ça n'a plus rien à voir avec le vrai Musée Tussaud que j'ai visité il y a longtemps. Il n'y a plus que des chanteuses, quelques comédiens mais rien sur l'Histoire de l'Angleterre, à part la reine Elisabeth

I didn’t recognise half of these exhibits. It seems to be geared towards z list ‘celebrities’ unknown unless you’re under sixteen. Very few historical figures. I saw Henry V111, but where were the six wives for example. I liked some of the settings and I loved The Chamber of Horrors.
But I think they could concentrate more on English history and less on talentless so-called celebrities.

A few were spot on, some looked so real you’d expect them to move. Others, not so good. Princess Diana looked awful, Audrey Hepburn not so good. Helen Mirren was the best in my opinion.

Hi. Thought Benedict Cumberbatch was so well done. Audrey Hepburn, not amazingly like her, the setting is Breakfast at Tiffany's l think. A couple of the James Bonds. Most of the women, no clue!? Yoda, King Kong. Was looking out for Elvis though.
Audrey Hepburn was stunning in reality who ever did this wax work made a huge error !! Its nothing like her!!
