- David Walliams and Matt Lucas created this character-comedy BBC sketch show which cleverly pokes fun at all sectors of British Society.
Along with material from the original series, I also included skits from their other series, 'Come Fly With Me', 'Little Britain USA', and a hilarious spoof of the lead singers from ABBA from 'Rock Profile'.

The Brits have a way of mocking others on a way that's always funny
As an Asian, I found these products are hilarious and is absolutely a symbol of a decade filming production. Sometimes just don’t judge it would do, why don’t people ban mr bean becoz it might aggregate the image of British people? Everyone know it’s kinda a comedy to make people fun, so sometimes why don’t keep these nice works and let people to have some fun? Wouldn’t it be nice to bring joy to viewers?
I prefer this rude British humour to the very fake one of today.

@@ogunyemid Britain wasn't like it is now, when this was released. Trans wasn't even really a thing. Some older men would cross dress, and that would be about it. It was seen as a fetish though, and not a gender identity.
Of course, there was homosexuality and it was accepted as it is today. Just people weren't as "sensitive" back then, to jokes about being gay. I don;t know why younger people want to make LGB into a MASSIVE issue, people have been openly LGB for decades. Trans OK, that's a bit of a different thing.
You had "butch" women and "effeminate" men, I know it's a bit stereotypical but that's just the way it was. People just accepted that as part of their character.
I'm American and loved every second of this show. I need to find a physical copy so I never have to worry about losing access to the show

Lots of children's authors have been actual massive racists This comedy isn't it's mocking Britain and all its quirks. This is obvious from the title of the series.

There's an Indian potato recipe called aloo gobi (it's referred to as a veg dish in India.) I don't know of any fish dish from India as I've mostly had dishes originating further inland containing pork and chicken.

I'm disabled, and would kill for a carer like Lou. He's amazingly dedicated, caring, and willing to do any jobs to help him out. I do have a good carer to take me out these days, but finding good carers for everything else is a bloody nightmare. Many are either lazy, couldn't give a damn or outright take advantage

That's the thing is a lot of people say offensive stuff then complain that "comedy is dead" but it's not that comedy is dead, it's just that they're not funny. If it's genuinely funny, people will be laughing too hard to be offended.

This TV programme is definitely one of my favourite shows. It's so silly but clever at the same time. I love some of the insults Marjory throws at her unfortunate gang and the un PC stereotyping of the characters definitely one of my favourite 00s TV shows.
This is one of the few TV series which managed to make me laugh so much, so genuinely!
