Yes, though my understanding is this Tantive 4 is scaled off the model used for A New Hope, which makes it smaller than the appearances in other films.
Suspension of disbelief makes it all good. As they haven't stated the actual distance and size of the space you are playing on for your tabletop, it would benefit everyone to embrace a sliding scale concept to make things playable in the minds of people who have a problem with it.
I meant that HWK-290 ship that they put out to fill the same role as the imperial lambda shuttle. That thing is from the expanded universe and Dark Forces in particular, if memory serves.
That looks epic.... I hope they will bring some of the smaller imperial ships from the expanded universe then. The only thing that matters - it has to be in scale :D Thanks for bringing the news!
Oh wow those are sexy. Not sure what imperial ships would fit that size format. I imagine they'll have to dig into the expanded universe for those, as they've done for the rebel shuttle-sized ship.
The blockade runner was dwarfed by the star destroyer, which tractor end it into its hold (like who here doesn't know every scene by heart). To scale the star destroyer would be the size of a small car. Sorry, if its ever made, it better have a bed inside cuz you might be living in it if you buy it
What are? I'm saying I don't know what imperial ships would be of the size of those rebel ships going by only the films. Probably a couple form the expanded universe, but I couldn't tell you which ones.
Hey, you guys showed up on the FFG page oogling these wonderful new ships. Check it out! D= can't post a link apparently, FFG Page with the large ships conversation "Assemble The Fleet"
I'm not bothered about scale to a degree. You have to embrace a level of suspension of disbelief when it comes to gaming. People are also complaining about Star Trek attack wings scale, but whatever. They tried to keep the original enterprise to scale and it's this tiny piece of crap model. I think we can eventually expect a Star Destroyer maybe twice the size of the Corellian ship or perhaps only slightly larger. They have to keep things practical.
Thank you very much for the coverage during GenCon

Are these the ships used for the 1st star wars movies?
Those seem about right. The blockade runner wasn't very large.
No, its a Corellian Corvette AKA "Blockade Runner" of which the Tantive IV was one of.
Oh yeah. Love Empire at War FoC and X wing miniatures!!!!
What was the price point on those? It was a bit blurry on the cards
not that anyone is asking but if your wondering... if they were to make a death star it would have to be THREE football fields long... yeah...
Look at the size of those things!
In this game, a Star Destroyer wouldn't be a model, it would be the game table.
Thank you guys so much. Greets from Germany.

Oh I see what you mean ha ha. Im thinking theyll go for ships in Empire at War or rebel strike!!
Yeah. They are in 5 and 6.
I think that shuttle was in ep 5, when they are escaping Hoth
My wallet just burst into flames at the thought of how much I'm going to be spending on X-Wing expansions (again!)
those are gorgeous!
so how many years tell they make the death star a unit to use (: now u will need really large tables to play ha
Awesome Videos guys!
is it 1/270?
next to make: Star Destroyer :D
I never knew you liked Star Wars?
But then again they go good on a shelf with other star wars figures and shit

more like the room the table is in
I want to see Tie Defenders
they're coming...
If Executor is 2.5 miles long, a 1/25 replica would be 500+ feet long.
Awsome
Wow
SSSSSWWWWWEEEEEETTTTTTT!!!!!!!
