- Unlocking the bootloader gives you more control over your device, allowing you to install custom ROMs, kernels, and other mods. However, it is important to note that unlocking the bootloader will also erase all of your data, so be sure to back up everything important before you begin.
Locking the bootloader is the opposite process, and it will restore your device to its factory default state. This can be useful if you are having problems with your device or if you want to sell it or trade it in.

No you can't lock the bootloader of OnePlus 6/6t on a custom ROM. But it will depend on the developer/maintainer of that particular ROM. Some other brands/models allow you to lock the bootloader on the custom ROMs.
@@TechyNoob1818 thanks man , I loaded it with some failures I managed to do it in an hour, now it's smooth as ever than oxygen OS, but the problem is the camera, no features is there
Yes on other custom ROM developers ship the ROM with opensource camera or with Modded Gcam

Use MSM tool to Unbrick your device then follow video guide

@@TechyNoob1818 one plus 6 ( rev_OverSeas_210121_0427_release_OTA-BLOCK_Signed_fp2101210427_cve2021-01-01_ufs_10.3.8 ) tho prob it's time to say goodbye to op6 cuz my phone got shutdown and went to qualcom crash mode when I tried to open game app so prob op6 motherboard is dead

Did you mean to use fastboot devices?
cmd devices might not be the right command for fastboot. You can use fastboot devices to see connected devices in fastboot mode.

@BADRI313andYARMOOK60 it because either you are trying with the wrong command or faulty USB cable and make sure to use platform tools to open cmd
