I can't understand the 2nd step where you flashing copy partition zip file ... Here our phone automatically bootup into pixel recovery or we manually open it ? After that opened recovery mode , i frist apply update or first write cmnd "adb sideload....copy .zip" . Which action i do frist ?
Flash the Pixel Experience recovery, then manually boot into it. Navigate to "Apply update" and use the adb sideload command to flash copy partitions zip file

Hello, do you know how to full backup the phone before installing the pixel rom? or do you have any tutorial for backing up the data first?
Just copy necessary files to PC and for apps and call logs backup using Google One
I see that you have a TWRP file, do I have to use it? Pardon my ignorance. Would this be root? Or is it not necessary?
ONE MORE THING: the download from the official website gives an error, what should I do?
There is no need for TWRP Image as this ROM is based on Dynamic partitions so you have to use Pixel Experience recovery to flash the ROM. What error occurred when you tried to download it?

What are the steps if i want to remove the pixel experience rom and install other rom which requires twrp.....does the partion changes has to be undone ? in oneplus 6t
Reboot to fastboot and connect to pc, Open cmd/powershell in platform tools folder
./fastboot erase system_a
./fastboot erase system_b
Boot to TWRP & Flash the TWRP zip and then Format data then reboot to recovery.

Hello, Ive been trying to change from lineage os to pixel experience. So first i cleared all the systen dalvik cache vendor date then i flashed twrp. After this i tried to flash the custom rom but everytime its faliling and saying "to flash additional zips please reboot recovery to switch to the update slot". Ive tried changing slots still its showing the same error. Idk what to do now. Please help me.
You need to flash both a copy partition zip file and the super system image for Pixel Experience to boot. Flashing the super system image in only one slot won't be enough. You need to flash super system image in both slots.

Just flash the copy partition file, it will automatically copy all the partitions from slot b to slot a.

You can use fastboot ROM /Recovery ROM or you can use MSM tool to roll back to Oxygen OS.

Hello, few days ago I installed pixel experience in my OnePlus 6t device, the OS works smoothly but I'm facing many issues like fingerprint scanner doesn't work at all, not finding gcam for the device, battery is draining way too fast and phone's heating too much while playing any game. Can you explain what might be the reason? Also suggest how to resolve these issues. Thank you
Reflash the ROM again since I've been using it for 4 months. I've only encountered the heating issue with the PE PLUS ROM, not in the standard PE ROM. Gcam is also working for me. I'm using Gcam 9.
And I don't play games so can't comment on gaming performance.
And are you familiar with the issue with fingerprint scanner with this rom? How do I overcome these issues kindly suggest
No issues regarding the fingerprint sensor. It's working fine. If you changed the display recently, then you need to calibrate your fingerprint sensor or maybe reflashing will resolve your. issue.

Im stuck at the wipe-super step, it doesnt recognise the command. I tried downloading the latest sdk and used both powershell and cmd and it wont work
Using which OS Windows or Linux?
If you are using Linux then it won't work as of now. If you are using Windows 10/11 then it should work try the older SDK version

Sometimes it gives this error just close the CMD/Terminal and open a new CMD/Terminal and try again or try with the platform tools. For platform tools you can check the description.

Pixel Experience does not include the GCam or OnePlus camera app. Instead, it uses an open-source camera similar to the one found in LineageOS.

Steps :-
1) download platform tools
2) unzip platform tools
3) open cmd/powershell in the platform tools folder
4) Now flash the super empty img using the same command
still got the same isseu

No...You can't install it using TWRP even if you install TWRP after flashing the ROM then you wont be able to boot into the ROM again you have to flash PE Recovery again to boot normally.
