I had a similar problem where I was quiet , and I also thought I was introverted until later I had the ability to be social , but because I was gay , me and girls and guys were in a different reality regarding the concept of dating , so I was confused on why I wasn’t attracted to anyone until 19 when I found that I was actually gay. I have no trouble interacting with girls on a social level, and I can talk to girls about many things . I consider myself an ambivert. On the topic of being assumed as dumb when you are quiet. I was told that by an older woman, and I know that it means that when you are not outspoken people will mistake you for being dumb . I also didn’t have a problem with bullying except twice a year maybe I was bullied or harassed , but usually I would logic things out with my Ti so I didn’t get affected .
Oh ok. As a straight guy there’s a lot I don’t know about that world but makes sense. And yea it’s a little different when it comes to talking to girls in a romantic sense. Takes a little skill and you gotta know how to come off. Most dudes get nervous or anxious and mess it up. And i didn’t really get bullied much just a few times people attempted. I always had the mindset of not being afraid of anyone no matter what in school.
@@mkingISTP It does feel like I was “missing out “ because I’m not straight. Straight guys are a lot different and act differently from gay guys , and have different values , so it was hard to make friends because I didn’t relate to anyone. I know more about the straight culture world and why straight people act the way they do as time progresses .
@@mkingISTPpeople also associate someone who is outspoken as somebody that is noticing things in society and someone who is quiet as somebody who doesn’t notice anything , that’s why people think that if you’re outspoken you’re smarter
@@mkingISTP I was social amongst childhood friends because I was comfortable amongst them but not amongst people in school . I went to a private elementary school and then transitioned to a public middle school
