Im certified teacher in Texas in music. Wanted to find out how to get a second certification in the field of technology. Does anybody know how to do that?
Dr. A, I passed my Texes Science 4-8 exam, with the help of some of your videos. "It's not if I pass, but when I pass." You're the man, thanks sooo much!!
Thanks so much for making this video! I'm currently an incoming undergrad college senior who realized a little bit too late that he wants to be a teacher. I'm trying to find as much information as possible for what my plan to get certified should be once I graduate and the local school board websites are not helpful at all LOL
Thank you for watching, Louis. If you have questions or need help with your teacher certification, please email us: info@thelearningliaisons.com. Or call/text us @ 407-797-1499. Have a great rest of your day!
Good morning Dr Jason, I watched one of your videos on RUclips about the alternative certification programme, l am Mrs P .I already have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education overseas (Nigeria) and also a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education overseas( Nigeria) , my question now is do l still need an alternative certification programme in the state of Texas? How do I get into full time teaching. How do I get my certification /license to work as a full time teacher in Texas.
Thanks for making this video, you're the real MVP! I'm currently applying for my CE but I had some questions about after that. I know that I have to enroll in a college alternate route program and be employed by a school which will then enroll me in the PTP, but I'm a bit confused as to whether or not I have to be a "lead teacher" and what exactly that entails. The alternate route programs I've looked at all require me to be employed as a lead teacher before I can apply, so I assume that means that is a requirement of all alternate route programs? Lead teacher seems fairly intuitive, you're the head teacher in a classroom and you're responsible for making lesson plans and, well, teaching the class. That's great and all but I have ZERO experience teaching children! I completed the 50-hour seminar at an accredited university and as I said I'm in the process of applying for my CE (I believe I meet all the requirements) but I still don't really know how to create lesson plans or how to lead a classroom. I made a fake lesson plan during the 50-hour seminar, sure, and we watched some videos about teaching but I don't have any practice doing so and I definitely don't feel confident enough to get in front of a bunch of kids and start teaching! I'm just very confused and frustrated, it feels like I'm being thrown into the deep end and I don't know which way is up and which way is down. Do you think you could do a video about the next steps AFTER obtaining your CE and how to go about enrolling in a PTP? You covered it a bit in this video but I'm the type of person that likes having detailed instructions on how to do things, so do you think if it's okay you could make something like that? Thanks again for this video!
Wow, thank you for watching and sharing these kind words, PiePierrot. I am sending this message to the content creators on our team and let them know what people are requesting. Have a great rest of your day!
Hello Sir, I am from South Africa and yes I do have a 4yr degree. 1. The total cost of the program is $4,495. Your enrollment fee of $295 grants you access to your online teacher training to become eligible to teach. Once hired, you will then pay the remaining program balance of $4,200. I saw that from their website, what if I am in South Arica while studying this program, can I pay the rest of the balance as soon as I am hired in the United States? 2. Can I start enrolling in the program any time during the year? 3. How long does it really take if learning online, say from my home country South Africa, 1 or 2yrs?

Hi, do you know of any around the GPA requirement for Bachelors degrees? I want to go into art teaching. I got my BFA in Fine Art in a major that was not my strongest subject, so I had below a 3.0, though most of the poor grades were due to harsh grading in a competitive art environment and not academically based. I was wondering if there are any ways to get a teaching certification with a Bachelors that does not require you to have had a certain GPA. Also, I'm considering maybe attempting to get the Masters in Teaching degree online through a program that does not offer a teaching license, as the online programs tend to be less restrictive when it comes to minimum undergrad GPAs. Then, once I have a higher GPA via my masters degree, go back and try to get the teaching certification at that point. Does that make sense as a potential avenue? Any help would be great, thank you.
