    All the Japanese bands/groups I follow that have a big member shift like this always come back with a safe fan pleasing song and it makes sense. Okay PassCode did it with two songs but the point still stands. 🤭
    It's always best to reassure old fans on a return like this than try and grab new ones right away.

      Totally agree. If anything, being lowkey is wise right now so that a potential commercial single can arrive unobscured. However, this was a nice little wave to the fans, and like with even Passcode 😉, they knew to respect the fans first 😊

    I'm shocked that no one is talking about the true meaning of this song... 🥺
    A year ago Suu had a high risk open heart surgery, which lasted 10 hours and required 2 blood transfusions... Sumire wrote that thought she was going to die...
    The recovery process was long and painful and it even took time for Sumire to sing again...
    That is why this song has such a huge meaning...
    "I'm literally covered in scars, but I'll keep running until it breaks and I can't move anymore ♡"
    "This song is a sequel to Stella☆, a song full of dreams, hope and anxiety that was released in 2013. This is the continuation of a very important song that connects us all ♡
    The journey continues, Thank you for always shining in us ☆"
    (*Transalation from her Insta post)
    Even if you look at the logo you can see the S is open in the middle and looking at the picture of her really bigs scars after the sugery... I personally think it's Suu herself embracing those scars, and saying "I'm still alive!"

      Thank you, and I really appreciate your breakdown of that side of the song.
      I must admit that I don't really look at the lyrics so often in songs. I feel the emotion should be conveyed primarily through the music and the lyrics are a second layer to give specifics, but it is true that songs like Yoshida San certainly demonstrated how much lyrics can really help you get in to the head of the performer. As you said, Suu had an incredibly difficult time last year, so I am sure that played more than a small part.
      Musically, I feel this song is in a nostalgic space where Suu is certainly in a more reflective mindset, but it is looking very much to give a feeling of comfort, and that in itself may be reflective of her mind set. It's true that often bands get back together after someone is particularly ill, because they find the larger importance in what they have as a group beyond any separate ambitions. Suu somewhat indicated this during the press release about SaiSai's re-forming.
      That said, yes, I feel this is a gentle and nostalgic fan pleaser, for those of us who have followed the journey. I wouldn't be likely to personally analyse the lyrics too much myself, but i do feel the music makes the point that this is a safe return to the essentials, the things that are important, and the reasons we love Silent Siren to begin with.
      I am therefore excited by the future, and hope that, with our feet firmly back on the ground, we can go on some new adventures with SaiSai this year :)
      Thanks again for the wonderful comment!

    I may be the only one who has flashes of Cluppo when listening to this. Which is not meant in any way as a criticism. Be interesting to see what happens next but it is a relief to have them back in one form or another. Cluppo and Silent Siren? I wonder?

    • @BakaBroadcast
      @BakaBroadcast  7 месяцев назад +1

      That's a pretty fair comparison. I think that you can tell Miku's Cluppo is a little harder edged and Sai Sai tend to prefer what I'd describe as a more "bouncy" sound, but both could certainly play a concert together with no loss of fans between the sets :)

      I've been dying to hear Miku sing alongside Suu! But then, I don't think I could handle 2 hyper kawaii singers at once >.

    Did they use a support drummer for their live shows recently or a backing track ? Or was it programmed by the writer ? Can't say I'm overwhelmed by the track.

      Support drummer. One of their art friends that happens to know how to drum.

      the recent live, they used a female support drummer(they even massaged each other!). The album, they had a support drummer from their own company

      @@ckiemnstr345 Yu-kun who played at their last tour before hiatus played the drums on the song. Ai Kishinami so far only was there for CDJ 23/24

      @@svenakg I just saw their IG posts and looked into the drummer that played with them at CDJ. Finding out she knew them beforehand made a lot of sense. I didn't look into who played on the actual track itself.

    I still look forward for the next product. but I have to admit, without the simple drum arrangement of this song, it just feels like another SCANDAL song 😢

      I do hope that Silent Siren use Hina's departure to experiment and no overly try to immitate her. Afterall, she had a very signature style. I get their wish to sound familiar to us old fans 😉, but movng on will help. I wonder how Hina is doing these days? 😊

    Are the girls of Stereopony still active?

    • @BakaBroadcast
      @BakaBroadcast  7 месяцев назад

      Well, the band itself hasn't been active since 2012, but as for the members, I think only AIMI (lead singer) is active. Unfortunately her stage name is also used by Aimi of Poppin Party, so I recommend looking for Aimi Haraguni :)
