I remember beating this game. Ah the good ol days~
Beat Mr. Dream. Took forever.
This was one of the most(if not THE MOST)challenging boss battles I've ever beaten back in the day.
nah, it's already been seen by the good g1s on ScrewAttack... and i did it on one of those new fangled LCD tvs. i must have killer reflexes.

We deleted responses because a bunch of other spam responses flooded the channel and while trying to clean them up, we accidentally deleted the legit ones. But rest assured, we're aware of submitted legit responses and we're working with the entrants to get their responses back. But was it that big of a crime that someone needs to lose their job over it?
Here are my tips:
-Play with an nes controller. The wii remote is too small and awkward for this position.
-Keep the middle of your thumb resting between the back and up buttons on the D pad. This allows you to shift between back and up when dodging his attacks and not have to move your finger. It makes it easier to quick dodge (a skill necessary for getting an attack on time).
-Don't focus on tyson. It's easier to pick a specific spot and hyper focus on it so you can look for pixel shiftings.
Yeah this has been scheduled since the first episode so chill.

You'd be amazed how many game collectors there are on RUclips who collect everything for the Atari 2800 & Colecovision from the 70's/80's to the current consoles. And why not, it's nostalgic memories (Y)

What song is their intro
There's a few strategy guide videos on this game somewhere on youtube where the author breaks down each characters AI, patterns, and weaknesses and shows that it's possible to KO/TKO each character in the 1st round, even Tyson. But even without it, Tyson isnt too much much trouble to get. All you do is wear down his life bar in the 1st round to where he only needs a hit, or two, to go down. Then you get an easy knockdown at the start of round 2 with 3 minutes to spare.
Sounds like there has been a bike theft.
IGN forgot an old trick w/this: if Tyson punches with his right (left on screen) hit B for all counter punches, and the opposite for Tyson's left-handed (right on screen) punches.
Unlike the rest of the game where alternating punches are best, doing this will take a sliver more of Tyson's energy out with each set of punches from Little Mac, a big boost to your chances.
why isn't this on start?
The first time I ever beat Tyson it was by decision. After that I pretty much knew his patterns by heart and I beat him by tko or KO 4 times after. Crazy to me that in 2012 people are talking about this like its so difficult when the difficulty level in video games has become exponentially greater since 1985

my friend used to play this game all the time and was able to figure out that Tyson was winking before he threw a punch, but still lost every time. Its near impossible.

The Souls games (Dark & Demons') are pretty tough, especially if you're looking for that old school challenge.

I have beaten Mike Tyson around 20 times but he is very difficult to beat. The first minute or so is the hardest part. These are excellent tips for defeating Mike Tyson.
