- Today was Sunday Jan 15, 2023 we are doing our best to keep up with about 36”+ that we received over the last 24 hrs keeping equipment going and recovering Owen in the skid-steer check it out. Good times in Mammoth Lakes CA
The lady with the Breathalyzer made me shake my head. You have to deal with the snow, the weather, equipment, and then her. Your patience is well beyond what I would have had. I've done loader work and I know how tricky working in those close quarters is for the operator. Stay safe.
You and me both!
My first thought was to dump the snow on her but that was just a fleeting thought.😂
@@donditullio9968 Once while working construction a woman parked her Jeep on a pile of rebar. We told her she couldn't. She told us to do impossible obscene things to ourselves. The Super told me to drag the car off the rebar with a big articulated loader. Her wheels didn't turn and by the time I had it out of the way they were all down to the steel core.
@@plowbrothers365 Best thing to do is plow an 8 foot pile around these types. You know, To keep everyone safe.
@@GT-mn3bx omfg YES...that way she CAN'T drive drunk. Although, the breathalyzer seems to be actually working, thank goodness.
Narcissists...they're always addicted to something: alcohol, sex, or religion. Nothing you can do with them, they genuinely believe they're better than everyone else.
I'm watching from Australia and it's the middle of summer. No snow ever where I live so I'm finding these videos absolutely amazing. I can't believe how much snow there is!
Mammoth is a world class snow sports destination. The skiing is amazing.
Can honestly say that we/us here in Europe are sick of the pissing rain and could only dream of such glorious snow! Awesome videos man, subbed! Keep livin' the dream! Greetings from Germany!👍🍻
Gruß aus California! The snow is indeed glorious and tons of powered everywhere.
Viele Grüße aus Kansas zurück !
@@michaelhorath6851 Danke!🍻
It's only glorious for the first 5 minutes, then it sucks. Especially when you have to work in it, like these guys.
@@CrispyOkraI have to snow blow an hour or two a day, about 12 feet so far.
Thank you plow guys for all your hard work. Without you, life would be impossible here in Mammoth and vicinities. You guys are awesome, and the TOML needs to have a "Plow Guy Appreciation Day!"
That's a scary amount of snow buildup... We certainly got lots of it this past winter in North America. Cheers fer yer hard labour guys!
You do a great job narrating and filming. I'm from Red Lodge Montana and have plowed through four foot snow in -30 below weather. Please consider filming and uploading 4K content. 1080p looks a little grainy on a large television. Stay warm and major congratulations on this new channel. I discovered your channel 2 hours ago and I'm still watching them. Kind of mesmerizing and allows me to wonder through memory lane.😊
I'm living in FL and this is as close to snow as I am going to get, but I grew up in IL and I know what an important job you all have! Keep up the great work and I'll be looking forward to seeing the area without snow too.
You and your crew are outstanding. That must be incredibly difficult work cleaning the roofs, and dangerous. Love the videos.
Was out there in June a few years ago 30 degrees at the top of the mountain drove down to Bishop got out of the truck it was 104 degrees. Nice job your doing
Mammoth is the only place in California I miss. Great channel man.
I Luv Watching This Channel Because Living Almost In The Middle Of NC Haven’t Had,Seen “ANY!” Snow,Sleet,FreezingRain,Ice,Etc; In Ages So This Is Only Way I Can Enjoy This Beautiful “Deep” Snow You Guys Have😊Thanks For Sharing NC❤
You’ve definitely earned a beer or two, or even three! Awesome job dealing with all this snow.
I've been plowing snow for 34 yrs with the city of Durango co. You and the crew you have are BAD ASSES!! keep up the fine fine job you all are doing. take care stay warm and I really enjoy all your videos.
This is just awesome for a snow lover like me, I wish I was there with you guys working. thanks for the contact, great job
Any time!
Very interesting segment. I use to live at Crystal Villas. I worked at Sierra Maners, so I just walked to work when it was like this. It's pretty cool, I know just about every place this guy has been. It was a Monster season the winter I lived there. 🫡 Great job you guys. And you don't stop, day and night. 😵💫 !!! GREAT WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS !🤗
What a great job you guy's are doing. It just shows people how unstable snow can be. Thank you for sharing this with us. Love your channel and content. ❤🇨🇦
Our pleasure!
I saw a small slide tip over a big blower on Tioga abiout 20 years ago in late May.. You never know when you might be hanging upside down.
@@plowbrothers365 each of you needs to keep a small shovel with you in the cab. I saw that wall collapse and thought how easy it would be to get covered and suffocate. Definitely need radios when working in pairs like this. Be safe while helping all these people.
I would have never known here in New Hampshire what was going on there if it weren't for your videos. Unreal the amount of snow you have. Your doing some good work that is terribly needed..
Dude I live in the mountains of New hampshire and we have never had more than 120 inches of snow in a season this is incredible you guys have your hands full great videos keep them coming 👏 me and my wife have been watching everything you post
California gets a lot of snow. Up in the Tahoe area, a 16' base is pretty common. Back in 1982, Donner Pass got 186" / 15.5' snowfall in a 13 day storm alone (3/27-4/08/82). In May 1938, Donner Pass had a seasonal total of 819" / 68.25' of snow.
yea same here island pond VT 150+" a yr thought was decent. not this year
You have so much patience. Bravo to you and your crew.
September is the best month to be in ML. Crispy days full of color and beautiful awesomeness. However, 20’ of heavy January snow will change your perspective on how tough everyday life can be for the residents who provide services for visitors. Just getting to work (Mammoth Hospital, Vons, Looney Bean, Schatts Bakery, etc) is an unheralded daily accomplishment that our flat-lander brethren may take for granted. I sure as hell couldn’t live up there despite having access to one of the best hospitals in California. Love these videos and mucho thanks for posting.
Everything is “big” in California. Fires, earthquakes, mudslides, snow….Very resilient citizens and kudos to you and your family for helping!
Love what you are doing. Being from the Northeast originally but live in TN now, I can appreciate what you do even though we never had that much snow!! Keep up the great work!!
Thanks for your hard work, you should get a raise.
Love that place! Spent a lot of time there ( in the summer)when I lived in Yosemite. Used to go to the Blues and Brews festival every year. Thanks again for sharing your experiences with winter living in Mammoth and helping keep the community safe and moving with your hard work.
Wait a minute, you started this channel two weeks ago and have 73k subs. I’m amazed!
I started watching about two weeks ago, to get a more of boots on the ground of what’s going on in mammoth with the snow. Thanks for sharing!
You live in paradise. Love videos. Show some town life.
Great work Keep up the great work Be careful and stay safe God bless you guys
You should do live TikToks, people love these in winter 👍🏻
Love your channel. I really enjoy hearing about the logistics of snow removal and just the day to day keeping the rigs running. Very cool and much respect. I have had a place up in Mammoth for the last 10 years and my son is now living there. Nice to see a different perspective.
It's just so satisfying to watch! I've always wanted to visit the USA but didn't even realised it snowed in CA.
Hi I love watching your videos. You guys work so hard. Great job
Thanks for all your hard work guys much appreciated. I’m not up in the area but I’ve stayed at cinnamon bear. You all do a great job your all amazing!! ✌️
We move snow out here in Minnesota but man nothing like you boys. Cool stuff. Have to visit that place. A buddy and i run some equipment and the shop. Mad respect 🎉
LOVE LOVE your videos! We had friends over yesterday and all enjoyed your coverage! Thanks for allowing us to have a window into your Mammoth life!
I like these kind of videos- stay safe. 🙏👍🌻
Dude this makes me want to move to Mammoth... So sick
As a Canadian - Good job guys! That's a lot of heavy snow! You guys work like true Canucks.
I was up there last weekend. Left Sunday 1/8. Been watching all week since and am amazed at how much more snow has fallen since last weekend. Absolutely incredible!
My wife and I love watching your videos. Thank you for all the hard work you do to keep the town running for us visitors!
You're doing a great job! Enjoy the videos and am very jealous of your location.
You’ll have to watch for music copywriter stuff if you keep growing. Get that monetization!
Cool seeing the insane amount snow, and how it’s managed. Curious to see the melt off as well.
There are so many of us guys and some gals who've moved snow and know how much fun it can be... rewarding to get to be able to help others who need you to (an embellishment here, by just a bit) survive the rigors of living in BIG snow country. Alot of us, I think, are older and have done it "Back in the Day" satiating our thirst to feed the addiction.
"Call Heavy D Sparks or Matts Recovery" ... I laughed nearly to tears 🤣
I lived in Mammoth Lakes for almost one year, we moved to Tahoe. We go back and visit in the summer, but Tahoe is so much larger and more to do with less snow. I'm glad we left cuz that's too much snow!
Awesome work guys! I grew up in IL and my dad was the road commissioner for our township. I grew up driving tractors, dump trucks, road graders and grain trucks. We did more than our share of snow removal. It’s a hard thankless job many times. Keep up the great work!
Greetings from Orange County CA. Your videos are fascinating. Mammoth is simply beautiful. Kudos and thanks to you and the guys.
Mammoth Lake es uno de mis lugares favorito lo visito todos los años . Gracias muchachos por el travajo duro que asen
Que Dios los bendiga
Love the content. Amazing job you are doing. Thanks for sharing.
I do enjoy watching but it's not like being there and unfortunately I'm disabled with health issues so it's best for me to watch for being a youngster you have a head on your shoulders to many young people don't want to work for a living and that is sad. God bless and as always be safe 👍
Gonna be EPIC fishing at June Lakes and Crowley when this all melts and quenches this parched area.Thank God for all this snow!
You guys are awesome up there
The Cinnamon Bear....love it!!!!!
Whew. I'm cold just watching these videos!
Mammoth is a fun place to ski. This looks wild. A snowpocalypse
Your the man and having a good crew always help's
Another awesome video 👍👍💯💯
Wow ! That's serious snow removal !!! I only saw snow banks like that when I was a kid ! I know you guys have a huge job but its a fun job ! Thanks for the video , frigging awesome !!!
Just stumbled across this video... and love watching snow removal !!! So I Sub'd 🎄🎄👍👍
Love these videos! Keep up the good work.
I'm glad you guys got the big snow to plow this year. We got skunked with light Dustings and rain. Rough time for picking up another loader so far.
You guys are awesome!
We're up here in Southern Oregon and have only got a couple of feet this winter. Easy-peasy.
Keep up the good work!
Great Job !! The amount of snow is insane. Keep up the good fight !
Fascinating how your experience results in some clever problem-solving. I’m impressed that the power has been on throughout most of your videos. Power lines must be underground. Good job!
You guys are absolute beasts!! The bald tire, 2 wheel drive, low slung car groups will continue to pile up the mountains....
charge them appropriately a hefty stupid human price to get them unstuck..
Can't wait to hear the reports on the totals and spring melt off!!
Sure gives us all so much info on how much snow removal and upkeep 🌲you all do Thankyou 💟🙏
U are Amazing love the work u do really wish I lived there would love to hang out on one of those rescues…saving so many people who needs help.
Looks like so much fun moving all that crap around.
Thanks for sharing this. I can see you’re working hard and doing good work. If I may make one suggestion… from a guy who grew up 70+ years ago dealing with many deep snowfalls near Buffalo, NY. When any vehicle is stuck by snow jammed beneath or along its side, it’s best if you can remove as much of this snow as possible with a shovel before trying to tow or drive the vehicle. I know you’re pressed for time, so it’s tempting to just start yanking. But clearing the cause of the obstruction can actually take less time in in the long run, and helps avoid damaging the vehicle and the tow rope/chain. And it’s safer.
PS- this is why I keep a small snow shovel in my trunk.
Hahaha. Dude, the Heavy D Sparks reference was 👌🏻. We have a place in Hidden Valley, spent last week up there and just wanted to say thanks for working over time to keeps the roads open. Much appreciated.
Except most of those are made on purpose or fake.
Its awesome to see how much yall care!!! Keep up the good work!
Good video thanks a lot be safe
I'm a good ole boy who lives in Vermont! I've been a pipe foreman for a construction company in New Hampshire for years! I'd love to work out there!! Haven't seen snow like that in Vermont since I was a kid ! I'd love to come out and work I get laid off in winters but our winters are nothing compared to beautiful Mammoth !
Nice work! Hope everyone appreciates it.
There's a face in the snow @3:37
Watching you...
I love your podcast
good to find you, lived at the Blue Roof condos behind Safeway back in '82. Grew up in Vermont and as beautiful as that is Mammoth was like nothing I'd ever seen. I recall enjoying an adult beverage on the deck at the lodge watching the ladies ski down in shorts and bathing suits during the last days of June.....can't forget that
Hi again, using the headset (Mic) is amart. I'm seeing on news another round of weather if coming for California. I'm so glad I found this channel. Yesterday's video ending high up in the hills with the great view was awesome.
У вас в городке потрясающе красивая природа и у вас реально интересная и полезная работа! Всегда получаю удовольствие от ваших видео!
Your Jeep is bad ass, I have a 2007 in great shape only 45 k miles .
Hey im going to be at the cinnamon bear inn tomorrow. Thanks for all the work you guys do!
You guys rock
Thanks for your hard work (you and the crew)
Thanks for the video watching from Reno NV
Keep up the good work like the winter videos since we don't have any snow here in NJ east coast
That looks like so much fun . I love a good snow storm
Such insane amounts of snow!
Thank you for all you do 💪🙌
good to see cali get some much needed snow. we gonna need that snowmelt water for this dang drought
Thanks for posting- looking forward to the next one. Can’t wait for Heavy D or Matt’s to show up for a guest appearance.
I'm a new subscriber. Thx for the videos.
The hero's of Mammoth. I plow snow in Alaska and i can say THATS SOME DEEP SNOW. If i was building there i would think long and hard about were to put the mountains of snow not tennis courts.
Looks like you guys finally have a break coming. Just need to get through the wave today/night. and a minor one in a couple days, and my forecast shows clear after that. You guys have got a crazy amount of snow in a short time. Great job staying ahead of it.
Thank you for sharing this. I find it highly entertaining. I also plow but wouldn't last 1 week in your world.
You guys certainly getting much more snow than we are northern Utah. My wife’s uncle and cousin live there, been there most of their lives off of Tyrol ln. keep safe
It hard finding good help anywhere. The good workers don't leave where they're working for no reason.
Great job
Just subscribed the other day. Great content and narration! As someone that has been to Mammoth many times over the years, it is great to see all your hard work so the rest of us can have fun. You are doing a great job dealing with this historic snowfall.
Я живу в России, но такого количества снега никогда не видел. У нас снега тоже не мало, в больших городах есть снегоплавильные установки работающие на дизеле или рядом с энергетическими станциями.
Классная работа!
Awesome work! And great to see the channel grow so quickly in the last week
That would be amazing living with all that snow!
Matt loves the snow 😋
Keep it up my dude!
