If Tien had a band it would be called. Tien and the Tri-Beams.

I did not know there was three voice actors for Tien I thought it was only one voice actor for him?

Multiple across different dubs from different dubbing studios over the years, Ocean dub, Funimation dub, etc

I love that you learned something new! I did, too! I didn’t realize Chris Cason was the first VA and then got an acting job that had him travel, which led to John Burgmeier voicing Tien all these years. Such great stories from all three actors!

Loved the panel. It was cool to have all these Tien actors together. I loved Brendan’s response to the question about Tuen’s relationship with Chiaotzu. So cool. I also didn’t know the story of how John Burgmemier took the role of Tien from Chris. Actually for the longest time, I didn’t know there were different actors for Tien in the Funimation/Crunchyroll dub. All in all this was a fun and informative panel.

Wish they would've gotten the original Canadian Tien, Matt Smith, but this is great, anyway. Love Tien, next to Krillin and Hercule, he's my favorite human character and very underrated. And both Chris and John's versions were great and grew up with them, will probably check out Brendan's version after this video to see his performance. Great panel.

Tien (John Burgmeier) would be an incredible voice for vision in a marvel anime.

Wait there's two Ocean Dub voices of Tien?

Only 1, and he's not featured here. Brendan Hunter voiced Tien in the Blue Water (Canadian) dubs of Dragon Ball/GT. Chris Cason was the first actor to play Tien in the Funimation dub (for season 3). He was later recast for John Burgmeier. John eventually went back and redubbed all of Chris' dialogue. Chris also plays Shu.

Why would they use the Japanese name for an English panel about the dub and it's actors?
