@@BEMEiTY unfortunately that has happened repeatedly throughout Greek history, not just by the French and not just stealing but also vandalizing. The Greek ruins would have been even more magnificent today if other countries minded their own business 🙁
I did a bit of snorkeling around Milos and in some beaches you could see small vents and gas bubbles coming out from the bottom of the sea. In one of the beaches you could also smell the sulfur gases depending on the wind direction.
what a lovely video guys thanks. my wife and i moved to crete 2 years ago and absolutely love it. we are going to do a bit of island hopping maybe next year (not simple as we adoped 3 street dogs then started a small farm lol). this island looks stunning so i think this will have to go on the llist. best wishes from crete
My favorite beach was Fyriplaka beach. I loved Milos but driving was rough in some places with super narrow roads. Yikes. Beautiful island. I was there 4 years ago. Thanks for the video, brings back my memories.
As a Greek Milos is one of my favorite islands. A tip i can give you since Milos has a lot of beaches is the first day there to do the round of the island by boat. You will see many nice beaches where you cannot go by car and also you can choose which beaches to visit next days there. You will not be able to visit all!
Paros was my favourite island, Zante is also beautiful. If you can, before leaving from Athens, check out Meteroa, it's tranquil and absolutely stunning.
Fantastic beaches all around- and some of those sunset views from the castle are definitely POSTER worthy (almost like a different world)! You two definitely went above and beyond the beaten path in your explorations and it was well worth it! Thanks SO MUCH!
One Greek Island that hardly any vlog travelers go (and I don't know why) is Rhodes! It must have to do with price of transportation! Island hoping is much easier in the Cyclades or Dodekanes i guess ! But its a pity! Hope you will make the difference on this trip or the next one!

Milos is where the famous statue of Aphrodite "Venus de Milo" came from (now in the Louvre) Did you have time to visit the ancient theatre and the early Christian catacombs? They are easy to walk to, just between the towns of Trypiti and Klima. The beach at the sulphur mines (Thiorychia) are a bit of a trek but also a great place for photos. If you're into geology, the mining museum is great, it collaborates with the National Technical University of Athens.
Wow! Looks like Tsigrado was badly hit by the recent storm, it's nothing like this, normally! ...And probably that's why it wasn't busy. Once (many years ago) they dumped truckloads of sand from the perlite quarry up the road and you could just walk down. They did that cause people used to get injured climbing down the cliffside. Milos has more than 60 beaches and they are all different. I like Psarovolada beach (just east of Agia Kyriaki), Gerondas beach and Kalogria, the latter is only accessible by boat though. You can hop on the little boat and cross from Pollonia to Kimolos Island, it has some great beaches too! And a really nice town. I love combining Sifnos-Milos-Kimolos. The food on Sifnos is phenomenal!
This is such a great video. So relaxing with the music and the scenery...The shots of the cats and kittens were cute as well :) And I think it's the only video I've seen where you point the camera towards the sea before you cliffdive into it. (That's probably the closest I'll ever want to get to doing it myself.)

It seems like in Greece you have to get the Greek salad with your entree to make your meal more than enough. Plus drinks. It actually ends up being about $20 per meal.
Just spent 1 month in Greece recently and I hired an E-bike to get around Milos for a week & spent an entire day on a cruise boat around the island & loved it 😎 you guys are super cool & humble traveler’s, rare nowadays 😌🙏🏼 looks like you are having a great time , safe travels ✌🏼ps. Been to Paros , lovely island but not as picturesque as Milos 😎
