Paros is since antiquity famous for its marble. Some of the most important ancient sculptures were made of this marble, like Venus de Milo (now in Louvre, Paris), the Winged Victory of Samothrace (also in Louvre, Paris), Hermes of Praxiteles (Olympia Museum, Greece), the Augustus of Prima Porta (Vatican), etc. Also some of the most significant buildings were made using Parian Marble, like the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus (one of the seven wonders), the Athenian Treasury at Delphi, etc.
I am from Paros, thank you for the great video. There are a few more places that ara picturesque and worth visiting like Naousa, Marpisa, Alyki and a lot more beaches. Last bad not least , the huge Byzantine Cathedral of the 4th century in Paroikia. So come back to our island. Have a great vacation 💯
Chris hello! My wife and I travel to the island next to Paros (Naxos) and believe me it would blow your mind its Paros times 4. There are awesome panoramic views, ruins, beaches and the food is all local and fresh. Even if you did a day trip its only 1 hour by ferry and the town is too cool with the fortress and church that crowns it all. Love your vlogs happy travels!!

When you said we are going to Kolymbithres beach and I saw the place you were actually swimming, I thought "God, they missed it", lol. But then you walked towards Kolymbithres. Last footage in Paroikia, just before being in the car, you've just passed my favorite place for breakfast. And a final piece of information. Lefkes is a typical village that you would find in a cycladic island in the past centuries, well hidden from the pirates in the Aegean Sea.

Nice video reportage. I first went to Paros 45 years ago and it really was Paradise for me. No beach clubs, no beach Parasols and beds. Much has changed, but thats progress, it is still in my opinion the most beautiful of all the Cyclades Islands. You should have spent more time there however I'm glad that you stayed on Logaras and at Ragousis House, which used to be home for me for many months of summer. I was last there five years ago during a heat wave in June where for the first time in many years there was no wind at all for a week.

I can highly recommend Hotel Palatia in Naxos! Manos the owner is such a sweetheart and the stuff super friendly! Suitable price, close to the city and right at the city beach!
Aha! We went to Paros last year and it's the best island I've ever been to! We stayed at Saint Andrea resort that's in the street of that first beach you stopped at.
loved this so much!! a super laid-back one for me to chill before I go to bed and look forward to my trip there 😍 just hope that the ferries don't get cancelled and there aren't too many people when I get there towards the end of August (although I know that's wishful thinking haha)

Been to Paros 9 times from back in the early 90's ( i could tell you a few secret place to visit ). Use to stay in Naousa while on Paros, awesome and beautiful village (northeast of the island ). Antiparos is my favourite .. the locals are amazing and a fair few are really good friends. They are the ones who told us about places to visit and go find. Naxos is cool .. go over the far side of the island, hotels / rooms right on the beach front / miles of golden sand beach ( Platais G ). Enjoy 🌅😎🌅
As a comment. NE England at 23 degrees.. Feels far hotter than 28-29 as I’m in Crete with a breeze, where I am at the moment. Temperature is relative, depending in location and water saturation in the air🙂sweating in Northumberland, cool and relaxed in Crete.. Go figure. Great videos as always 🙂
