I visited Karphatos in 1992 with my back then girlfriend. It is nice to see it again although I cannot recall all the scenery. Back then, nude recreation was very common and so did we ofcource. Well anyway; lovely video, Thanks for sharing and kind regards from The Netherlands.
I really like your channel! Main reason is because both of you are very chilled out and are not trying to put on a show for the camera by being overly animated. Too many other couples channels are each other competing for camera and talk time. It's very refreshing, relaxed, and chill to watch the videos. Amazing beaches! Greece during mid to end September is also nice, because the water temperature is still warmer. One of the hidden gems is Antiparos, a small island with plenty beaches and less crowded than its big brother Paros.
We are sitting in Kos airport having spent a week on Kalymnos island it it is truly one of the best Greek islands we have been to, try Kalymnos soon the beaches are amazing 👍

Yes, I must say, if this is your kind of island, you'd love Kythira and Ikaria, or exploring the Peloponese. If you want something like Santorini but laid back, see the following three islands: Thirasia, Anafi, Nisyros
not only the islands in greece has nice beaches.also the mainland greece is full of great beaches , from the north greece till south. you should go there too

Guys, I'm Greek. The villages up high were built as protection and early warning from Pirates. Also, it was easier for farming on the top. There are many small churches out in the fields to make it easier for the farmers to pray.
i know islands are your thing and they are all beautiful but if i can make a suggestion, you will not regret it. please visit Parga on the western side of greece and whilst there do the Aheronda river track.

Spent a month on Karpathos in the summer of 1972. One ferry in and out each week between Crete and Rhodes. Generally about five foreigners on the island at any one time. Total expenditures food/lodging for the month were $70.
If you were to pick 2 or 3 islands for 9 days with nice beaches, not too crowded, cool architecture, good food, history and not too hard to get to from London, which would you pick? Milos/Paros/Naxos or Rhodes/Karpathos/Kos look like potential options so far.Thanks very much!

I am not doubting you as I've never been to karpathos . However the best Greek island I've ever been to is symi which is next to Rhodes . I think you can only access symi via Rhodes as there are no direct connections to symi . If you're looking for peace tranquillityand idyll then symi is truly the best .

If you're still in Karpathos, I highly recommend you both experience a day trip to the Island of Saria! It's has one of the best swimming experiences while experiencing the best scenery of the island with the boat and perhaps of any Greek Island. On the island of Saria, you will see old ancient ruins from a once habitable civilization and some still active mountain top churches with amazing scenic views and colors!

There is no perfect Greek island. they are all perfect. Most islands you go to you don't have any time to even know what is there to explore. I know because I have followed your previous videos. for example. Crete. It has 1050km coastline, 5 mountain ranges, very high biodiversity. 400 gorges. 9000 years of civilization and so on and so on. How much did you see from that? 0.05% So how is the perfect Greek island when for example just Crete alone you saw a fraction of a fraction of the island. The coastal views of Crete are also spectacular. The most spectacular views in Crete you havent seen yet. Which are at the south coast. and that is just AN example. Greece has 6000 islands and they are very diverse and different from another. You have no idea. But ofcourse. Perfect island. Just there is none in Greece. Again. They are all wonderful. Either they are wonderful or even more wonderful and it all depends on how much of the beauty you actually have seen
Greece had 11 rough years, the financial crisis, our country was broke , we lost our jobs , our health care went downhill, ppl lost their homes , many took their lives because they lost everything they had but here we are , stronger than ever , we made it , we pulled us through and probably just because we are surrounded by so much beauty and light ! It just kept us going ! Enjoy your stay in my beautiful country.
