Brilliant review-hits all points I look for when shopping puzzles. One thing I don’t enjoy about Galison is the thinness of the pieces. But I’m only working on my first one, and I haven’t finished so maybe I’ll change my mind. Good review though thank you!
Thank you so much! I do agree with you that the pieces are thinner than most of the nicer brands, but I do value it as a pretty solid budget brand. I more often than not just love their images, but I am generally deterred from buying more Galisons because I've been leaning more into higher quality brands. If they upped their quality a bit more and have more varied peices, my wallet would be in a lot of trouble. That said, Galisons are GREAT as art pieces.
I ordered 3 puzzles from Galison. The shipping department crammed all three into a box that was a little too small, so one puzzle box was damaged. I contacted Galison. At the time of this writing, (about 4 days later) I’ve received an email from the shipping department saying a replacement puzzle is on the way. I’m certain it will arrive as promised. I also got a code for a discount on my next order. Great customer service!
