pretty good for all stock, and havin the 8 speed with ya always shifting, I don't know much about the durrango but I want one with the v8 for my first vehicle, could you perhaps do another 0-60 with tow/haul mode on.. to increase shift points so that way your not gonna shift as much
@@jim6807 It changes the shift points and i think shifts faster. Ofcourse the downside is more wear and tear on the trans, but it does actually make acceleration quicker
Jim lol yeah. But yeah towhaul can in some cases be a bit quicker, in the case with my Durango I don’t think it’s any faster, since mine is older. Towhaul really for me just keeps it out of OD gear
@@yaboiguff6282 ironically, opposite. When you let them slip, they wear each other out as they slide. The clutch packs in the transmission really need a good firm shove under hard load in order to prevent wear, but this would be uncomfortable/chirp tires/whatever so they slushbox with the stock programming like this. Then when they're clapped/worn out after 180k miles of slush shifting people think they were weak.... if they were programmed hard to begin with, they will last longer :)
@@coning1824 yes I do they literally don’t even make a 2.0 accord with a 10 speed at all anymore they’re all cvt. I’m saying the alternative to something like this is cvt cars now that’s our only option
Finally, another vehicle that isn't a Tesla that has a good, non-laggy digital speedometer
That's the only good thing about Chrysler's electronics
tesla more smooth than dodge

Yes I will and will be getting a tune and a 87MM TB which should get it into the low-mid 6's which again, given it's weight is pretty good. :)
T Parrish I don't have a durango.. but I don't think a towing mode equals fast lol

Nice!
Thanks! Not bad for 5,300 lb vehicle. :D
This transmission looks like it shifts slow af
Car could be much faster with better programming surely
That might actually be better for the transmission's longevity because it's easing into a gear rather than slamming really quick into it.

it’s the tuning of the cluster….they have laggy response times. the ZF is a very fast shifting automatic.
Wasnt in sport mode, sport mode tightens the shifts.
Slower than my accord 2.0t
I’d hope so

Bro stop putting ur car with traction control off doesn’t make ur car faster
It can, traction control cuts power to help not spin. Just like how the AC uses power to run.
