My first submersible bridge, I can't imagine these are very common? You did a great job of narrating your video, thank you for sharing it with all of us.
I am a civil engineering student, from Kolkata, India. And submersible bridge is in my syllabus. So after watching this video the concept is crystal clear for me. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very nicely done! I am impressed by your spontaneity and fun in describing it, as well as your moving the cam to get a perspective that clearly shows the various operations. I suspect the gaps in the roadway were placed to allow the water to drain quickly, but it's an advantage that most of the fish can fit through and drop back to the sea. Did you know that there are two of them, one at one end of the canal, and one at the other? Again, well done!
Great vid, I wanted to see the bridge in operation for quite a while. Did you realise that you were standing on the Diolkos when you were filming the first part of the video ? It was a paved trackway (like a rudimentary railway), that was used to transport boats across the Isthmus of Corinth 2,5 thousand years ago.
the color of the water is beautiful. Water taxis don't hvave hulls that go deep in to the water, they are wide enough for a shallow hull and still be buoyant.
I was a biker for a decade or so, and I'd be a bit wary of going over straight after it's come up back up. Give it a few minutes to dry out and then ride with your feet down and I reckon you'll be good. Cheers, Jay
And there is no outrage like there is at the Japanese for whale fishing? I would have thought that organizations like PETA would be complaining! Generally I think they are kooks and do not support them, but I would have supported them in this case... On the other hand, great fishing opportunity.
British!!!! what a nice pronunciation! love uk! greetings from greece! always welcome!

poor little fish . . .
Next time I pass by this bridge I will d0 some fishing for Dorade !
It must be slippery and dangerous to ride a motorcycle through.

OurTour Blog cheers. Thanks for the advice :)
0:50 The Corinth canal is 8 metres deep, so the bridge would have to go down that far.
Still a few left...floundering.
Would have a bridge over have been more piratical?
Poly bridge?
regarde il ya de petites parsserelles pour que les poissons puissent sauter entre , pour regagner l'eau .
Nice accent!
Sounds like a lezza !
so every time this bridge lowers it kills some fish who don't make it to the cracks in the bridge in time
well then
centaines de poissons suicident à chaque rentrée ou sortie d'un yacht
