Just found your video...thank you for posting. I am in the midst of turning a JET SKI trailer into a camper and seeing this reenergized me and gave me ideas. Thank you...safe travels.
That is so amazing! All of it. The fact that you built it, live in it, take it with you, sustain an off-grid existence and eat wild raspberries off the land - super impressive!
Thank you. This just came up on my feed. My little tiny home shell is being built now. I have decided to use old pallet slats for my inside walls to save hundreds. Just built my table/desk today and will be making some shelves for the kitchen this coming week - all from reclaimed a n d weathered pallet wood. My home's width is wider than this one but shorter so it gives me a good idea of what to expect. The addition of the slow moving vehicle sign on your tiny is a good idea. Great build. Congrats
Governed as you were by the primary necessity of your home being optimised for travel, you have excelled in the design, construction and outfitting of your beautiful, compact Travel Cabin. Clearly, you gave much consideration to obtaining the best aspects of travel, together with those of living, and its practicality and comfort. I find your beautiful, compact Travel Cabin to be simply elegant and elegantly simple! Subscribed.
I've rebuilt 4 houses on the west coast and Surrey New and Used had all sizes of windows, doors screens, plumbing fixtures. Saved lots of money getting my supplies there
Three and half years ago I got an aluminum 5x8 cargo trailer to travel in. Been working on it since then. Just ordered a cubic mini to install so your video on yours was helpful. Was planning a cross Canada trip but things changed. Still camping but staying closer to home. The wood stove will make life in the temperate rain forest and PNW much more comfortable. Happy travels.
That’s awesome! We did the same trip in the early fall of 2003. We had a 1992 Toyota V6 5spd 4X4 with a 13’ travel trailer. It was perfect for my wife and I to do the Alaska highway to Whitehorse and Skagway. We then took the Stuart Cassiar highway back home. It was 18 days of sheer bliss in that tiny trailer.
Luke, thanks for sharing this. I wondered how you were managing to stay at the various places where you’d been videoing and now I know! It’s a pretty awesome build for sure. Hope you can show us more about the tiny tiny home, like how it’s insulated, where you got that nice little wood stove, etc. Again, thank you for sharing another piece of your life. Be safe out there on your adventures!
I’m going out to Nanaimo end of Feb to buy a 17’ trailer camper that I’m gonna renovate into a tiny home. This is a beautiful build Luke!! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Luke you are so smart to have built a little home to live out of. I wished I had found your channel earlier & wish you had done a go fund me on your build as I would have donated for you to have the second window. That would have been a good idea to have the other one for air flow. Having the back door open for air flow can be dangerous in bear country. Stay safe & keep the videos coming
This is EXACTLY what I want. Its ALL I need. Camping with a roof...and a bit of insulation! Lol. Because I MUST be able to stay in the mountains year round. Nice to see some are still sporting the real tiny house idea. Thanks.😃
Hi Luke. I completely agree. You’ve got all you need! Plus, you are mobile. Great that you salvaged material for your build. I do the same when I can. I’m Canadian from the west coast living in Japan for over 10 years now. I’m making plans to return to Canada 🇨🇦 and am considering several housing options including a tiny home, trailer, camper or van. Such a simple and great lifestyle. Thank you for sharing.
I just started drawing up plans the other day for a small tiny home that looks just like this. Thank you so much for putting this together that really helped me to conceptualize it.
Excellent, really liked it. Sometimes imperfections are perfection. It really is everything one person needs. I live with my dog within inland Spain...its the perfect shelter. People are always welcome and equally welcome to leave. Great channel and another great quality upload 👍
Fantastic. I'm inspired. Just took a measuring tape to my trailer to see what I could build on it. Weight is consideration due to the towing capacity of my Subaru Crosstreck. Any idea what yours weighs?
i love it and the price only questions i have tho are how do you do laundry take showers and take a number two lol i think im gonna make something like this but put a loft in that way i have room for a washer drier combo and a wet bath
I love this and grateful i came across the video! I like the concept and its mobility. Like you say the cost difference to a tiny house and convenience for towing is brilliant. I love the tiny stove and the door which lets the outside in! Great stuff!
Absolutely Beautiful and Uplifting. If only you could locate some fenders befitting the character of the home to keep moisture and road grime from getting under those beautiful shingles. You are a Gifted and Resourceful Builder. I Appreciate your sharing.
This is beautiful. More beautiful than all these overpriced houses in all of Canada!

@@lifeofluke just got my 48 square feet of pure bliss on Thursday! It's amazing. Happy road tripping, and be careful!
Absolutely love the simplicity of this! All you really need is 4 walls and a roof after all
Definitely!
Love your tiny house and your dog!!!!!! No mention of your adorable four-legged companion.

This thing is freaking AMAZING! Glad you got a beauty of a tiny house for your adventures with Nina!
Stoked to see the videos to come!😁🤙
I totally agreed it you. I too love the smell the cedar especially during the rain.
It’s scary how much smaller bear glacier is since I was there in 2018. Even more scary is the change from when I lived up there in the 90s

Nice! I've seen some good builds out of cargo trailers as well, a definite possibility.

I hope you do one day!
@@lifeofluke Thank you.
Kraft Dinner with raspberries is something that I haven't thought of before, I might try that combination. Cheers!
haha, not together. separately. I meant that's what my diet mostly was
So funny watching Luke start off on his bicycle and his dog appeared to be trying to herd him. Love those collies
Fantastic Luke, love your tiny home.

Nice vid man, God bless you on your journeys!
Absolutely beautiful! Hands down, I would prefer this over any million dollar house!! (meaning sell the house for cash)😊
Beautiful. Love that.
Thanks John!
The bear glacier on the way to Stewart bc 33 yrs ago it was not far away from the Hwy. Look at it now. Just about gone. Great video
Thanks, Bill! I've seen old photos of that, it looked amazing with the glacier that close.
Very nice !

@@lifeofluke honestly i didn't even think about that stuff lol thanks for the response👍
I love his rig and the way it’s set up but I would still put another window on the other side when money permits it
This is incredible! My next project is to try and build something small enough that my Prius can pull😅 Thanks for the inspiration!
I can't say how many times over I love this!! 😍😍
Thanks Michael!
I saw you leave the house at one point in the woods. I hope you have some wheel locks to keep your awesome creation safe!

I don't have the exact numbers on weight because I've never officially weighed it, sorry!
