Sadly, it's not consistent in all parts of the city or country..we have our share of animal haters who won't allow feeders to feed these kids..it's not always rainbows & butterflies, but we do our best!
Well done to all the volunteers in Mumbai and all volunteers in India. Making sure that cats are having a better life is great not just for the cats but for humans and other animals. Greetings from Italy 💜
I'm currently in India and after 8 years of begging my parents, am finally getting a cat!! We found a lovely dear named stripy and we're visiting her tomorrow and hopefully bringing her home next week! Thank you so much Kitten Lady for educating me in these past 8 years of preparation (?) and for releasing such an oddly scary timed video !!
I've noticed, not just in this video but in the kitten fostering work I do as well, that the vast majority of the volunteers are women. I don't know why this is, but thank you ladies around the world for your kindness and love towards these little creatures.
For years men have kept more dogs as pet also there are a lot of men working in conservation of wild animals including big cats. So it doesn’t matter if mostly women save the cats and men do it a little, both men & women are contributing to the well being of various flora and fauna species around the world.
So glad to see The Feline Foundation being noticed for their work, as a regular caretaker who goes there for my cats treatment i must say they are one of the best NGO working really hard for the stray cats and dogs in Mumbai, amazing people with amazing veterinary team who are pure animal lovers, Thank you TFF and Hannah you guys are Angels on Earth 💖
0:05 that stray dog is better trained and friendlier than many pets. He is so adorable. It is very difficult for a dog to stand out in a cat video but he did!
Thank you so much for using your platform to recognize the important work being done by groups like this around the world. They work so hard and do so much!
my dog likes to bully my cat but my cat is weird. he gets hyper when my dog does that and runs back and forth over the house. I keep my dog in time out when she bullies him

I am so touched! I just rescue 2 alley cats that lived in my street. One cat (Charlie) was hit by a motorcycle and broke the leg pretty bad. There were a lot of dogs (some agressive) and I took him to the vet, he had surgery and brought him home. In the 17, with 2 days of the release from the vet, his fellow cat Ash was bite and was limping and bleeding. Now I have 2 cats...
Dear kitten lady I'm from India and have followed your channel since the past 4 - 5 years. I'm so happy to see u've come to india to help these lil cuties. I love street/community cats and have taken care of quite a few kittens for the past many years. I'm also very fond of the doggos of the streets. But nowdays the people of the so called civil socities have all turned up against street animals. I'm so glad to see that you'll be helping the cats around mumbai city. You're doing a greatttt job ! Thos is so heart warming and relieving to know there are people caring for cats in my country. Thankyou for this. 😊 This actually made my day and gave me confidence to do more on my part
An encouraging watch. I just wish the work in Mumbai could be replicated in other cities and hinterland. Stray and feral cats and dogs are a big public health hazard in India, especially given the yearly statistics of rabies cases. Have worked and treated patients in Animal Bite unit during my clinical internship at Hospital, so I know the gravity of the problem deeply. Unfortunately, there aren't such NGOs (which are financially feasible) outside rich metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore. The place where I live now for example has only one animal shelter and even that in underfunded and is in doldrums. I ended up adopting the 20 day old abandoned kitten I had rescued (in addition to the cat I already had) only because the shelter was over capacity and outright refused. On a side note, thank you very much as I had referred to your video on this channel on taking care of newborn kittens and thanks to you Leia is now a happy part of my family 😁. Coming back, this lack of infrastructure has led to uncontrolled breeding of these ferals and has led to lot of unmitigated consequences. Not only are they causing ecological imbalance by hunting down vulnerable animals and birds, but are also contributing to the deaths of thousands of Indians each year (not exaggerating anything) either by rabies or by road accidents. Mumbai is fortunate to have such NGOs working for a sustainable number of strays, but again I feel sad that this is vastly neglected in the overwhelming majority of India 😅
Bless all these volunteers. Thank you for loving all these precious kitties and doing what is best for them. I pray that one day they will have loving homes to live in.
I have been your fan for a few years now and I love you work! You have helped so many kittens and you inspire other people to help our fellow feline friends. Thank you for making our world a better place and making all of us smile through your videos ❤😊

Thanks as always Hannah for shining a light on the problem of feline overpopulation all around the world and introducing us to the people working to make animals’ lives better.
It is a little funny how the other cats just chill and keep eating, even as one of them in the group gets scruffed and kittynapped 😅 It could mean they trust humans that much, or they're just so hungry it's worth the risk for them...regardless, kudos to the folks doing this hard work!
Finally! I’m so glad to see this! I have seen a lot of cat videos in India where people are helping momma cats and kittens but don’t fix them. This is great to see cause it’s the only way to stabilize the populations and let the cats live better lives! Thank you!
Happy and feels proud seeing these services or helping animails in India. Mindset of the people should change that having a cat in home makes them sick or bad omens. This should change. I appreciate all the these volunteers helping animals especially cats where no one care and making the world better place!
It makes me think the world may be ok after all. It pains me when people are cruel or , even worse, harm animals. Wow, they have really made progress in India! You can tell the cats are being cared for. They look infredible for street cats. Job well done, India.
People in India are warm our main focus is to feed people and animals it doesn’t come from Europe we as Indian people are known for our generous feedings towards everyone
If you think this is awesome, you should check out rural India! With the exception of a few complete psychopaths (and I really do mean complete psychopaths) people are really, really, really really nice to animals, cats and dogs included! I have never seen chunkier or more curious cats in my life
I live near Mumbai too, tho my city falls outside mumbai, here there are tons of strays. One of my friend in my neighborhood decided to feed the cat. She slowly ended up adopting all of the strays that used to come in our neighborhood. One boy was a healthy cutie named Motu. Sadly he wasn't neutered so he would often pick fights with other neighbors' cats. Tho one thing about him was thag he would always come back to the same neighborhood, aka my friend's home (maybe because he used to get food & shelter there). Guy was maybe 2-3 years old & he recently passed away. Another baby boy kitten was dropped here by someone. He had a black & white fur so one of my friend living in the neighborhood as the other friend who adopts cats named him oreo. Tho the adopter friend would call him "Neelu" Idk he was a healthy cat, maybe lived for 1-2 years but again Ig wasn't sterilized & cought some kind of illness Ig. He too, recently passed away. It was sad to see them pass away like that but my adopter friend comes from a very strict home so they denided any financial aid required to take care of the furballs so most of the cats she adopted aren't neutered. Now there's only one cat at her house Ig remaining named Leo (named him Leo because of his golden fur). Him & Motu are total home bodies but when Motu got into the heat (mating season) he would wonder around. I don't see Leo often nowadays too. Hope he's ok
I liking a lot these videos about how different countries care for animals and how each comunity work to keep them safe and healthy with the resources they have and of course in a way that makes sense with each culture. Sending big hugs to you and these awesome people for all the hard work and all the love you are giving.
Great job! You guys are amazing in catching them... so skilful, so fast and drama-free (and less traumatizing for fellow humans and felines)! 🙏🧡💛🤗 I'm amazed at seeing so many cats out openly in the streets and this is to show that they feel safe and are being looked out for by the humans around too... wonderful.
As overpopulation of street animals is one of the biggest issues, it is still not taken into proper consideration. As an animal lover and someone who is genuinely concerned about society's welfare, it really warms my heart to see such kind, caring and supportive people who have true concern for animals. How I wish to have a similar NGO in my city for me, to volunteer!
Guys, you are doing a wonderful job. I have taken in abandoned cats and spayed them around 5 of them. The cost in private hospitals are very high for these operations. Hence, people are discouraged to do it. But am grateful for people like you. God bless you all and your work.
It's so cool to see what groups around the world are doing to help the cat population! When I was working in India 6 years ago, I met someone who was doing similar animal advocacy work in Chennai, he and his friends were working on an app that would help rescue animals and get access to TNR among other things.
The dog in the beginning of the video looks almost exactly like our dog Koko, who is roughly a year old. We got her from a shelter a few months ago and she's our not-so-little princess. She shares my brother's birthday.

Wow this is actually the best experience for you Hannah, you can learn how to do it more easier
Such a noble initiative. You are truly helping these creatures. May the power be with you.
So many pretty felines! ❤
In 1983 I saw a cat on the baggage carousel just sitting there! What a cutie!
A cat comes to my home everyday since I'm allergic to them, my dad only feeds her everyday. She is so cute and lovely.
Wow, I have been following you for over a year and nice to see you in our city, Thanks for this video
oh it seems like a heaven for me, soooo many cats and dogs😍😍❤❤
This is so overwhelming. What outstanding work they do! I can’t believe we’re responsible for creating this problem and we still haven’t learned about the consequences… and also keep breeding more and more into existence because we feel entitled to their lives. So sad.
Respected Madam, May God bless you please help so many animals on roads many are limping, diseased, hungry, etc. And die on roads due to vehicle accident. Hope your kindness would reach to all
You are my favorite RUclipsr!! ❤
