As someone who lived in a home that was haunted I can honestly say there are things we do not understand yet. But with that said, it drives me nuts when I hear people use the conservation of energy as a reason for a soul. That's just not how it works unless you are reeeally stretching the definition.

Sooooo you're saying that when I go to work in the morning and I push open the door to my office my work is done... So I can go home then?.... Just kidding.... Thank you for this refresher tutorial.... I really appreciate it.

3:30. That's a problem just because physicist don't more consider gravity as a force. But, the gravity is making force in those exemples. So, gravity do is a force.

How about gravity is a result of other forces in motion.

There was work done in placing those sacks of materials in a leaning position and in lifting the barbell to the top of the pillar, the kinetic energy used is stored as potential energy. No work is being done while the barbell is on top of the pillar because the molecular bond of the pillar's molecules is way much stronger than the force of gravity that pulls the mass of the barbell downward. Bonding molecules takes energy, a concrete pillar required energy and work to become what it is, that is, to bond its molecules together. Even rocks and stones are created by the heat and/or pressure provided by Earth. It took more energy to bond the molecules that make up the pillar than to lift the barbell and place it on top of the pillar. Hence, the pillar can resist the downward force being applied to it by the barbell. Therefore, no work is being done. But if the pillar starts to form cracks, then work is being done, just at a snail's pace. On the other hand, a human exerting force on a stationary object or holding a weight but apparently not moving it is still doing work because the muscles are alternating from contraction to relaxation hence the shaking of the muscles. The molecular bond in human cells is no way near as strong as that of a concrete pillar's that's why a human gets tired trying to resist the weight's potential energy being converted by gravity into kinetic energy. Moreover, the chemicals inside the body like the blood continuously flows or travels and covers distance inside the body while force is being applied by the heart and muscle contractions. So work is being done even if a human remains stationary.

If we can dig deep enough in physics and not border by advance or modern physics we may find that all form of energy were derived from electric and magnetic both stored in a vacuum-medium with a measurable property of permittivity and permeability.
Gravity, Kinetic and inertial energies are also manifestation of electrical energy submerged in the vacuum-medium.

It would have been since if, instead of single examples, you could have given a progression of conversions of energy. For example: I still don't know what in the world happens once the walls "absorb" the photons emited by the lightbulb. In my mind, something inert, such as a wall, absorbs something, yet remains inert, then it must mean that the photons have become inert, as well. Now, I know this isn't actually the case, but it would be nice to understand how energy progresses through a multitude of stages. I think that would be fascinating, as well as thought-provoking.

There is work done on an object resting on top of another object, how you may ask? An object cannot move itself from the bottom to the top, a force or energy is necessary to be able to move it from bottom to top whether it was lifted or floated to its final position. But if the statement was "an object resting ON another object" without giving a hint of displacement, it is safe to say that no work was done. If confused Google the formula for work you will get what I mean.

If energy cannot be created or destroyed it must have always existed , no beginning.

Have you ever reached out to grab a door knob and you got an electric shock? There's your answer. Although very very low voltage, our energy goes into the materials around us and then is dispersed accordingly and if required, as an electric shock.

Agreed. Defining something by what it may do, i.e., its effect, is not really defining what IT IS. This accepted scientific definition remaining unsatisfying since it defines energy by its effect on objects rather than informing us what it is.

So true. All he said simply begged the question. "if energy can't be destroyed, what happens to it"? I was waiting to hear him tell us what happens to energy since he posits it is indestructible.
