The Woody Cottage features a cosy deck overlooking the Tot Lot, ideal for moments of serene reflection. The Country House offers varied experiences with northeastern sit-outs for daytime relaxation and southern and western viewpoints for stunning sunsets. Inside, rubble walls and natural pinewood create airy, sunlit spaces.
Wander along pathways through tropical gardens, discovering a secluded lounge. The Open-to-Sky Bar and the serene Water Garden with its floating wooden deck and meditation room epitomize the retreat’s holistic living approach. Tamarind Retreat isn't just a place; it's a living sanctuary where every corner whispers tales of harmony between human life and nature's abundance. So much for less carbon footprint-wherever there is lawn and other semi areas, it is always a larger foot print.Build and enjoy the home but don’t live in the illusion that this is less carbon footprint.
My personal view.
1. Entrance view is staircase ? Really ?
2. In first floor nobody would want to seat on hard wooden seater. a Cozy sofa would have done a batter job.
3. Nobody would want to seat in corner seatout a hot area. i am sure.
4. Distance from bed to tv is about 18 feet. its hard to watch tv.
5. Bathroom has no privacy for bedroom. So noises coming out and smell will come out of Washroom to bedroom.
6. Large seating room...sofas should have distance of no more than 12 to 14 feets.Hard to communicate when person is too far.

Hilarious how the architect/designer claims a low carbon footprint because "only 10% of the land has been built up" and in the next frame shows about 60% of the land has been paved hehehe... Considering that India is going to be one of the worst climate affected countries in the next two decades, it's amazing how our architects and designers are completely bankrupt of any climate awareness and morally bereft green washers
Unable to understand whether it’s a house, farm house, resort! Doesn’t feel cozy or warm just too much open space!

I see a lot more concrete than what would have been necessary. This wasted land could have housed different tree varieties. Aesthetics should not be given unnecessary priority over environment.
Who lives in isolated places like this for more than a week ? No Safety, no nearby hospitals , no neighbourhood, no market & no servants….
