Break my hear and very soul to see what our magnificent Shrewsbury town was .
Oh how I know it so well ,every single street , every single shop I was 16 half when they knocked down the Old victorian market It was the most beautiful Market you can imagine Little Victorian shops as you went up the first set of well worn really wide solid stone steps one called the BOB BON Shop . A florist and Shoe Repairer in my day ,
Material shop . . Pet food , and wheat corn in sack bags , all with a curved Mullion windows . Butcher of course . a Lady making real wax candles . a wool shop , and more
The Market itself was huge beautiful and what a Show they put on when it was Shrewsbury carnival and the Flower show.
The planner who sit all knowing all wise went completely off their heads . many old black whit buildings have gone so many . And where Marks Spencers , Littlewoods ,but first Woolworth was given planning permission to build their Woolworth Shop down came The spectacular The RAVEN HOTEL ,
You should have seen it look out its on u tube it was huge . truly astounding but that did not matter to the so called know t all councillors . of that time . . They and the Councillors that followed carried on destroying Shrewsbury . and like now NEVER TOOK NOTE OF WHAT THE PEOPLE WANTED .
Of course it had to modernise but many of the old shop fronts could have been saved .
You did not see the Proud Scots tearing down their old buildings . or to many other town like Bridgenorth ,Ludlow, Hereford etc
Shrewsbury always a tory town and To many councillors were Tories and did just what they like and Beggar the people .
Today Shrewsbury is a full modern town still lovely to visit and there are a good few old building but two thirds of them GONE
Shame on you all Councillors that went wild tearing magnificent Shrewsbury,s magnificent building down

I could recognise most of the locations. Lots of fond memories of a beautiful town. Love the music. Very suited to the theme. Thank you.

Yes in the future ones I will add street names and yes the music is liked by some and not by others but I intend to reduce the volume down to a low background level in the future as its a bit loud in this one --thanks for watching
