    Hey buddy! Thanks for taking the time to make this :-) but it's supposed to inspire you by being a cool looking piece, not make you feel unworthy! So please don't worry about that - it's super robust (you might have seen - we've run one over with a car and it was completely fine!) and we'd like you to work that airbrush as hard as possible - that's what we made it for! As Vincent can Gogh said "If you hear a voice within you say you cannot paint, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced." Great advice that echoes down the ages to help us even today! W

    Hey. To get the backflow, try putting one of those soft triangular makeup sponges and block the nozzle with it. It works pretty well with my airbrush.

    • @TattooedTabletop
      @TattooedTabletop  7 месяцев назад +3

      Oooo that's actually a solid idea! I saw someone was selling a separate plastic piece, but I imagine the sponge is much easier! Lol

      @@TattooedTabletop just pinch the tip with your finger tips. As you pull back on the trigger and the needle goes in pinch tighter to cover the hole more. It's really all I've ever done. Might get a speck of paint on your finger tips but it'll be fine. Sponge is a good idea to clean the tip on the fly as you paint.

      @@jc7997aj: does not work with all nozzle/needle caps, only with removable needlecaps (for Badger's 100 series you'll have to use an moistened earbud for that to work), design differences. 😮

    “I felt unworthy”… haha I said that too. It is so well engineered. The Ultra 2024 is such a huge step up from my very good Master airbrush but in a totally different league. Nice video. I recommend spending a little time learning the names of the parts and techniques so that it is less confusing to others, especially new users. Keep it up!

    You're not unworthy mate. Great innovative airbrush.
    I use older H&S, Paasche, Sparmax products and H&S are definitely the easiest to use and live with. Plus with their 2024 range continuous improvement and listening to users is their forte.
    I've been airbrushing on and off since the 1970s, been model making all that time and I still make mistakes - usually when I go off piste and try and new type of paint for something it's not intended for.
    Yes H&S brushes look superb - works of art - but they are a robust tool for the job too (although I treat them as precision instruments tbh).
    Enjoy✌️😊💜👍

      Appreciate it! Yeah I've been airbrushing, but mostly for priming and zenithaling purposes. I definitely need to start utilizing this brush for more things and really get some practice in!

    Great video. Thank you. I love my H&S Ultra 2024. I had been using the Gaahleri airbrushes but this one was a huge leap in helping me with my airbrushing.

    Thinning the paint down so much isnt a problem really. I do that often with a PSI around 15 to 18 and build the color up on the model slowly

    • @TattooedTabletop
      @TattooedTabletop  8 месяцев назад

      Fair enough. In my case I accidentally thinned it down to essentially dirt water so it wasn't even really layering lol 🤣

      @@TattooedTabletop I am fairly surprised that you could prime straight from the bottle. Yesterday I used my Ultra 24, Vallejo Gloss Black in a mix of 3 parts primer to 1 part Thinner+Flow Improver at 20 PSI. I had near constant dry tip after just a few seconds of spraying in short bursts

    does your airbrush "leak" a small amount of air when compressor is on and your not doing anything?

      @@Neliss44 not quite though when I start to clean the airbrush, a little comes out of the seam where the cup meets the brush. Where's it leaking??

      I’ve been reading a lot of reviews saying that and no one seems to know what the issue is, it’s the only thing that’s been putting me off from getting one

  • @robertwilder4953

    I have an H&S Evolution 2024 and the needle cap comes off if you want to back feed and mix in the paint cup. I do not know if this is a feature on the Ultra. But you do not need the cap to paint it is just to protect the tip and without it on it is easier to deal with cleaning up tip drying. Enjoy your new airbrush!

    • @mahari7285
      @mahari7285 6 дней назад

      It's not a cap...it holds the nozzle so no chance to use it without the cap. But it's compatible to the EVOLUTION, so you can interchange some parts to get a removable cap.
