To truly discover Banff you need to head into the backcountry. My channel has videos of all my multi-day hikes in Banff, Jasper and other parks. I have hiked all the famous trails (Molar Pass, Rockwall, Taylor Lake, Skyline, North Boundary Trail, Glacier Lake and more), as well as far off the beaten path. My videos also describe logistics like access points, as well as many useful hiking tips. Cheers.
I am glad I was at Banff and Jasper a year ago. Beautiful place basked in splendor. And you will never feel like you are in a touristy crowded spot. It is just you and nature.
Great call on including Sunshine mountain slopes. If you like skiing it is a fantastic 'hill'! I've been to quite a few in the Rockies and it's my favorite!
I visited personally from calgary alberta just 250 kms away. It's so beautiful place. On the way also so many picturesque place every where. Cheap & best place to visit whenever visit Canada.
high up in Alberta's Rocky Mountains 00:16 that gives you all the fun and excitement of a major resort town 00:19 surrounded by pristine Canadian wilderness. 00:32 The township is located within Banff National Park, 00:35 and at more than 1,800 metres it is the highest town in Canada. 00:41 Banff is a friendly and welcoming town
I am Western Canadian, and have been a fan of Banff and the Canadian Rockies for 50 years, and I worked in Banff in the tourism industry for 10 years. I like this video, I think it portrays the Town and the Park very well, although you should make it clear that this video is filmed in winter, and in summer the snow melts in town by April 1, and from all but the highest mountain tops by August.
Banff is such a jewel of Canada. Love this video so much. Expedia, can please try to make a video of Calgary + Banff? Almost 90% of people visit Banff via coming to Calgary, so its better for people to know some of the nice places to go in Calgary also. And please also make a video of Vancouver, our Legendary city :)
Nothing to see in Calgary, it a nice city, but nothing interesting to see, so boring. Just go directly to the rockies, Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise etc...
Tenzack YOGI its not too cold! Usually stays at a cool -20°C. Once you get into Northern Canada (ik its hard to believe we consider Banff “the south”) temperatures stay around -50°C in the coldest months 😂
I've been to all these places when I went to Banff, and I can say that it is beautiful and I recommend staying there for at least 2 weeks. Their hotels give you an old-time luxury feel, like the guy said, and their ski resort is the best. The highest mountain is scary at first, but after you ski on it for a while, it gets better. The hot springs are awesome, but I had to run to the pool because it was so cold😅. And for the night life... well... what's there to say that hasn't already been said? Have fun in Banff and have a good day!😘👋🏻
This video was the source of the first information I gathered on Banff , I’ve been living here over 2 years now and have just started vlogging if anyone would like to gain an insight into what it’s like living here, I have lots of content on the way!

Banff is een gezellige stad. Tijdens de trip naar Jasper moet men zeker Lake Louise bezoeken. De natuur is prachtig en zeker de Rocky Mountains zijn de moeite waard.
I remember watching this video 3 years ago and who would have thought I’d be living out here 2 1/2 years now, love this place! If anyone wants to check out my vlogs I show off the place from a locals perspective, thanks!
I like this beautiful video and much more videos of Expedia. So, one question. What is the name of the background music of this video? And : Banff! We will see us soon...
Must go there at least once in a lifetime. Love my beautiful Canada.

Nice name dude
I’m feeling very lucky that Banff is just a 1.5 hour drive from where I live. It’s so nice to get a change of scenery there whenever I need.
I was at Banff when I was just 5 years old. I'm 13 now and I'm really looking forward to going here is the winter with my family!!
It’s peaceful and quiet. I live here all my life and travel many places. No place like home.
Whats the cost of living there?
We do have summer in Canada, believe it or not and Banff national park in summer is spectacular!
Ziggy Piggy it's spectacular all the time! One of the most beautiful places on our planet!

Had the pleasure of visiting Banff twice now and the Video was right in 1 regard. I didn't want to leave both times!
Banff is incredible and has a lot more awesomeness to offer than what this video covers.
Did it in 1980 & 2006, wonderful place!
Joey Jamison You are welcome to come again!
Must see! The drive to Banff thru the Rockies was a heart stopper for me, but it was worth it. Gorgeous place...
Nostalgic Music and beautiful eye popping landscapes.

I have so many nostalgic memories of going to these chocolate stores and toy stores in banff. It's such an amazing vibe
That would be nice to have the same videos on Banff and its surroundings in summer

I so want to come there, I only been to Toronto and I liked it there, it was a nice place. I want to see Calgary so much and Vancouver.
Gencturk92 Calgary is nothing compared to Toronto or even Vancouver. Montreal is what you need to see!! In the fall time, when the leaves turn orange🍁
To be honest 90% of people visiting Banff landed in Calgary but maybe 10% spend any time there... Evan that seems like a stretch
Nothing to see in Calgary, it a nice city, but nothing interesting to see, so boring. Just go directly to the rockies, Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise etc...
nobody gives a flying f about calgary
Like to go Canada one day.

Great Video thanks for posting
good job by Expedia
I wish they'd included Canmore... small town 10 minutes away great for antique shopping and less crowded. Plus home of Michelin awarded restaurants.
Better to keep the tourists out of Canmore. ;-)
Canmore is a beautiful place . Used to drive from Calgary to buy the best smoked pork chops on the other side of the highway.
this is AMAZING! love your video!
I wish I could call Banff home. :-)
So amazing I don't know if I'm going be there Banff national ?
