I just went this past November. Absolutely beautiful city! There are castle walls on one side, palm trees across the street, the Adriatic Sea surrounding you. It’s just an amazing city that you must experience for yourself

Is this country is expensive as compare to west European countries like London, Madrid or Paris....? How much average expenditure is needed for a couple to stay their for 1 week?
@@Nk_Neel Spilt is cheaper than Dubrovnik . You can take a package tour to Crotia .The price is reasonable. Paris, London ,Madrid are expensive .Portugal is cheaper and very beautiful, I 've been there many times .For a couple in CROATIA for one week , it depens how much money you want to spend .

@@Nk_Neel Where are you from ?.If you are planning to go To Portugal, go to Algrave, along the coast is beautiful, the landscape is wonderful, clean ,not too expensive ,people are friendly. Five times in Portugal. I'll come back there again. Have a good trip.

Well, looks like my top ten list of places to visit will have one more place added to it......!!!!!!!! I've always felt drawn to ancient, medieval towns and Dubrovnik has a special place in my heart even though I've never been there.....!!!! Hopefully one day I'll get to actually visit it ....!!!!!

I feel so lucky to be a European (not EU) citizen. Europe is without doubt, the most architecturally diverse part of the world, and boasts some of the worlds most beautiful and historic cities.
Its also the least interesting continent nature wise... specially compared to the natural wonders you find in the Americas, Asia or Afrixa

I almost can see Cersei Lannister walking through the walls of Dubrovnik (aka King's Landing) with those evil eyes, and thinking "how can I conquer the seven kingdoms". Dubrovnik, The City of Game of Thrones.....
A place to go to for the dalmitian dog.
Additonally, there is also an excellent cable car in the area. The view from the top is truly spectacular.

While watching GOT, i just made a wild guess that the setting of kings landing was in dubrovnik, because I had seen a vlog before, afterwards I found out, it is indeed shot in this city.
