In the UK there was a Titan collection Superman:The Man Of Tomorrow, with this story, For The Man Who Has Everything and Whatever Happened To The Man Of Tomorrow in beautiful black and white. Alan Moore's Superman blew my 12 year old mind.

Wait, there's a collection of these classics in black & white? Hmm, yes, on my wish list. Thanks for that!

I just finished reading the Moore Swamp Thing run and there were a few points when it felt like there were missing issues where Swampy was wandering into other comics… awesome find!

Al Williamson was the regular inker over Curt Swan at same time as this one and done 💎gem! He did a lot of ink work because it allowed him to make money whilst illustrating other projects! I still have my original copy and it amazes me the amount of work that is done on news print especially at this time because of the crappy flexographic printing garbage very rampant at DC and Marvel! Rick Veitch is absolutely amazing multi talented creator! He can and has done it all! Keep reading and making MOORE comix!🎯👍😎

It’s sad to say I don’t know of Veitch. I’m a big fan of unconventional comic book layouts so this issue really stands out. Brilliant artwork and story concept! Thanks for sharing and introducing me to Veitch’s work

I first read this in the DC Universe: The Stories of Alan Moore. I was glad to pick up the physical issue only a few months ago.

Alan Moore just hit different. I could believe what he was doing with comics first time I read him.

There are some great examples of repetition in Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' Time Twisters in 2000ad.

I like to think that I was somehow responsible for the inclusion of this story into the third Absolute. It happens chronologically during volume 2, so when I got the book I was terribly disappointed by this ommission. Since no other Alan Moore's Swamp Thing collection features this story, I thought I should tell Stephen Bissette and Rick Veitch that it would be the best chance to finally have everything together and that without this comic it would stay incomplete. I dropped them some comments about this and, to my surprise, it finally appeared in Absolute Swamp Thing 3.

Do you guys have plans to go through Moore's ABC line--particularly GREYSHIRT by Veitch?

9:20 The kid yelling in the top left panel on page 8 almost looks like a nod to Action Comics #1.

I love your channel and your content! So happy to see more Swamp Thing on your channel! If I had a small bit of feedback, I wish your thumbnails included more than just text. I love Swamp Thing, I would’ve loved to see some actual art in the thumbnail, and not just “BIG LETTERS! CLICK THIS!”
