I love how this Tuesday Tip is very subtle in its richness and ample content. There is a great deal there to think about and work on behind the few apparently simple movements!
In the style I'm trained in, we called those "flashy" movements hidden movements. Looks useless. But when broken down into application segments like you did here, then it makes more sense. What's done with the tool can be done without. It's a transferable principle. Good stuff sir.
As a former firefighter and paramedic that now needs a cane, having one that can pull double duty as a self defense tool is awesome. But like work everything, practice practice practice
Great explanation! Breaking it down makes it easy to understand. Thank you.
