We SHOULD, and all DO have the right to defend our property. Until paid for, the items this guy was taking was the property of the store and defending it should be up to their discretion. They handled this very well, and I would bet this guy and others will think twice before trying that there again.

@@skipperrussell2025 Think about this. Most of the ones who get arrested are freed. with no charges. To do the same crime in 6-12 hours later. To be caught and released to do it again. People are tired and eventually they go to snap and going to be open season on criminals breaking the laws. The victims just going to shoot the guy trying to rob them or car jack them. Pretty soon the Justice system going have to step up to enforce the law to protect the criminals by locking them up.

Love that Stockton business owners are standing up to criminals. I lived in Stockton for 35y. It's a dangerous city and when criminals know that they can make a victim of you, they'll return again and again.

Camera guy kept saying "nothing you can do until the police come" ... They proved him wrong. They can defend their property especially after threats to their lives and a 3rd time theiving in that day. He was leaving with thousands of dollars of smokes. Breaking time happened a bit ago more people defending their stores may slow the rate of this crap happening.
