This Backpacking Loop is Amazing!!!
Each section is completely different from the next. This is a must-do backpacking loop like nothing I've done before in Colorado. This is a 30-mile loop in the Lost Creek Wilderness. This is rated as one of the best backpacking loops in the Lost Creek Wilderness in the San Isabel National Forest.
Day 1 of our 4-day backpacking adventure begins at the Lost Park Campground parking lot where we hike out to meet the Brookside McCurdy Trail. We will hike the 30-mile loop deep into the Colorado Backcountry.
The first day was a 3.5-mile hike to our first campsite.

Hey Andy great job on your video. Back in the day I was brought up being a Cub Scout, Scout and then Explore Scout. My dad was a scout master of troop 89 in Tuscaloosa Al for 25 years. Looking forward to your next video.
Lost Creek is a fantastic place and I try to make it there at least once a year. I went this year in May with friends and we post holed the snow over Lake Park trail down to Brookside/McCurdy. It was a good time but kicked our butts, too.
Looks like a great place to hike. Was that a scout group?
