That soundtrack is one of Amons best albums and he's an incredibly influential musician in his own right. He gave this game a blessing that the vast majority of games don't enjoy.
Don't ask me why, but my favorite part of the original splinter Cell series is when you walk through things like curtains, and they move so perfectly and fluidly.

The lighting effects blew me away, especially the way the rays of light would come into the rooms. Kind of like a rudimentary 'ray tracing' maybe.

@@aimannafeez2881 so a remake? A remaster means just cleaning up the graphics a bit. A remake is the same game in a brand new engine with better controls and smoother gameplay and completely updated graphics , like the remake of dead space or re2 and 4.

Sam Fisher and Scott Mitchell will always be my favorite Tom Clancy characters. Michael Ironside should be the one to voice Sam in a remake.

Nowadays people be like "Don't ruin my single-player games with unnecessary co-op! Go play Call of Duty if you want multiplayer!" Then in the same breath, "Couch co-op is so dead these days, why are developers so lazy 😩"
Keep in mind IF they implement co-op in the campaing remake, Ubisoft WILL shut it off down the road when its not longer proitable probably won't provide user friendly way to keep the service up.
some of the co-op missions were better than the main campaign!

It's pretty wild that Sam Fisher is canonically 47 years old in the first Splinter Cell. This dude just got more dangerous the older he got.

The fact they spoke about how lighting was used in the original games gives me hope for this remake. Still a little skeptical, but this discussion was great.
You guys need to stop having hope for nostalgic games . Be excited but don't go overboard with your own thoughts and excitement.
The reason they visited that point was because even during that time it was being marketed as essentially the next gen of graphics and people where hype for it. It's not directly foreshadowing anything, so weird point to get hype over.

It's objectively the best if we assume that Splinter Cell was meant to always be a sneaker stealth game instead of the stealth action of Conviction and Blacklist.

The Chaos Theory coop mode was amazing. When playing with your partner, you had to be careful about talking to each other. Too loud and the enemies could hear you. The cool part is you could whisper from different ends of the level to distract enemies
Currently replaying the original trilogy, they still hold up so well and there's no games like them
Which platform are you playing on?
You've obviously never played Thief. The original two games came out well before the original Splinter Cell, yet do literally everything better except graphics. They make Splinter Cell's level design look like a narrow corridor in comparison. After playing Thief, it's incredibly difficult to put up with the SC series' restrictive gameplay and level design, inconsistent mechanics and dumb AI. They also have a vastly more interesting setting than SC's modern setting.

In my opinion splinter cell blacklist is underrated, had solid gameplay and one of the best online multiplayer modes we’ve ever seen.

Pandora Tomorrow's multiplayer is still one of the best asymmetric multiplayer experiences I've ever had. Would love a remaster

The PC port was utter garbage. The PS2 version was awesome because it had the Chaos Theory gameplay with the light and sound meter.

They should create a game called Splinter Cell: Aftermath where you walk through streets, alleys, apartments ect and replace light bulbs

That first shot through a net hanging and seeing the light was incredible for Xbox, dragging bodies to set up explosions that took everyone out at once was insanely difficult but so fun. Classic

It's so nice to hear the people working on the Splinter Cell remake understand how much the game was about moving through shadows. So many stealth games just don't even use shadows properly as a way to sneak through and blend in and focus on avoiding any type of encounters at all costs.
Playing these games back then as a teenager was a blast. The first 3 games are classics !

SC Black list ,was a blast to play . The plot was amazing dynamic and suspenseful.

Splinter-Cell Conviction was so underrated. Sure it focused on action/gunplay more but it did have those exciting stealth levels, AI was better, and that Interrogation scene in the bathroom is a Instant CLASSIC!
