NEW Ink Vader Octopus Lure by Mustad!

- Comes With "Ink Pellets" of Actual Octopus Ink That'll Billow a Real Cloud of Ink!
The InkVader was originally released late last year but issues arose on the initial shipment so we had to wait on the following shipment. The Octopus lures were based on real reef species. There are 9 different lures with each lure being available in 3 sizes (S/M/L) with 10 available weights ranging from 1-12oz.
Each InkVader comes with a pack of 10 ink tablets. Each tablet last roughly 8min depending on the way it's used. Each Octopus is rigged with 2 Ultra Point Assist Hooks. The material is a modified TPE plastic that is 10x more resilient then the average TPE. Can be used off a boat to the shoreline. Available in UV glow as well.
In the few videos out there on InkVader Octopus Lures none show how to insert the ink pellets. This one does. Of the 3 holes it's the largest hole at the very top. 2 of the smaller holes are for the wire loops. I haven't tested it in the field yet due to the pandemic going on but it's good to get a few before hitting the water.
I tried this from shore & in the shallows you'd need the lighter 3oz to stay off the bottom. But on piers or dredged channels it's great. If you go out in a boat or kayak you're going to have fun jigging this. Thanks Mustad for letting me try these "squidlies". Lol!

I could see using the big 12oz lure for ling cod here in California.
For boats use the heavier ones. I know Lings will hit those!

I've been wanting to throw this from last year but i was informed of some issues so i waited until the main retail outlets got theirs first. It was worth the wait.

I barely cought any on mine cought 1 fish and didn't use it next time I wanted to use it was all in a melted blob
If you keep it in a HOT humid place i can see that happening. I'm in Hawaii, i rinse off & store until dry after each use.

It was sent from the Dominican Republic on April 1, received it on April 2. Because of what's going on i haven't been out.

How much
You'd have to check different sites ranging from eBay to Amazon to store websites as i'm not sure what retail establishments have chosen to carry this item.
